Little Asia

Summer, 2014; Little Asia
Seven year old Noa was running around the factory while her parents kept an eye on her while in a meeting because her energy was through the roof.

But that stopped when the door slammed open and men wearing all black came barging in making Noa hide inside a closet which she could see out of.

She watched as the men in black parted ways for another man to walk down the middle and she saw a gun in his hand and heard her father's voice.

"Tatsuomi?" Then she head the other man's voice and she stilled hearing the malice behind it, Noa was always a very observant child.

"Hello Haruto, goodbye." Noa watched as the men fired guns at all the workers and the first thing she saw was her parents fall onto the floor, dead.

Noa covered her mouth and quietly cried trying not to make any noise to alert them of her hiding place, after all her mother always to her to stay quiet.

But it wasn't even five minutes later when they cleared out and she waited until she heard their cars drive off, looking through the gaps and listening in she realised how there was no one else in the building and she slowly crawled out.

And she ran over to her parents bodies and fell to her knees silently crying, not caring about the blood that was staining her skin as she held her mothers head and her father hand. "Mama... Papa..." Noa took her mother locket and her fathers gun that was hidden in his belt.

The seven year old girl stood up with dry tears and a blank almost emotionless look on her face before she ran out of the factory but stopped when she came across three older boys who turned to look at her.

"Hey put the gun down..." The one with brown hair spoke towards Noa as the two with black hair slowly walked towards her but she raised the gun at them.

"Stop." Noa stared at them before shooting behind them and a thump made the boys turn to see a man dressed in white clothing dead on the floor.

But when they turned back to Noa she was gone. "We need to find her, she's the only one who knows the truth about what happened." They all nodded before taking off away from the factory.

But Noa was running and she kept running until she reached a run down looking city and she hid the gun for any wandering eyes and entered inside looking around warily at her surroundings.

That was until she found herself standing in a circle of boys dressed in green and black jackets. One of them kneeled down in front of her. "What's your name?"

She looked straight into his eyes until she was picked up and she thrashed until she heard his voice. "Calm down, I won't harm you." Noa looked at the one holding her, he had blonde hair and kind eyes.

"My names Takeshi, that's Smoky, Pi, and Shion." Noa stayed silent and looked around when someone would wave to show who they were.

"Can you tell me your name please?" Koizumi looked at Takeshi before looking down at her hands, fidgeting and deciding whether or not to trust him.

"Nozomi or Noa..." It came out as a whisper and Takeshi smiled at her along with the other boys before he gently lifted her locket with his fingers.

"That's pretty where did you get it?" She stared at him with wide eyes before tears started to collect as she remembered the horrors she had to witness.

"M-Mama..." The boys looked at each other as Noa cried on Takeshi's chest with him gentle patting her back to try to calm her down.

"It's alright Noa." Takeshi looked at one boy in particular who gestured for him to follow and as they walked Noa's sniffles were heard as she looked around the city seeing many women looking at her with a frown.

Noa moved closer to Takeshi, her hands gripping his shirt tightly not wanting to let go, after all he was the only one to fully interact and introduce himself to her and so she felt safe in his presence.

Takeshi tried to get Noa to let go so she could sleep on the beds they had but she wouldn't let go and he heard a quiet laugh, looking up he sees his leader.

"Seems that she likes you." Takeshi looked down towards the sleeping form of Noa and he smiled before prying her hands off his shirt so she could sleeping on the bed.

"Smoky, are there any teddy's she can have?" The leader looking around the room before picking something up off the shelf. It was a pink bunny plushie and he handed it to Takeshi who put it on Noa's hand watching as she held it tightly to her body.

"Alright time to go we have patrol." Takeshi nodded and followed Smoky but neither of them realised that Noa had followed them.

She was silently running behind them and she watched as they jumped up a building but she didn't expect to be picked up so she screamed alerting the rude boys.

Noa. They all looked down to see that some random man had picked her up but she was trying to get away and they sped down the building infrastructure and Smoky took her from his arms.

Noa peeked her head up and saw Smoky and she clutched onto him for dear life as she sniffled. "It's okay I've got you angel." The rude boys stood around the two and the man ran out of Nameless City.

"He's not even from the city..." The boys looked at Noa who was still clutching onto Smoky's coat and Takeshi walked towards her.

"Noa?" She looked at him. "Can I carry you back I don't want you to get hurt?" She nodded and he picked her up as you would a small child after all she was quite small.

But none of them were expecting Smoky's adoptive sister to come running up and she stared at Noa. The fourteen year old girl didn't like the fact that the rude boys had another little sister, because it was only meant to be her.

"Who's that?" They could hear the jealousy and anger in her voice and they looked at each other. "Not now Lala, go home and eat." She looked at her brother and she grabbed Noa's bunny making the girl cry as she reached for it but Smoky grabbed Lala's wrist.

"Give it back to her, now." Lala stared at her brother in shock and that's when Shion grabbed the bunny handing it back to Noa who smiled at him.

"Thank you... Shion-nii." They all turned to look at her in awe and they smiled except for Lala as Noa was opening herself up little by little.

Noa wrapped her arms around Takeshi's neck and she was smiling at Smoky, Shion, and Pi who were walking behind him smiling back at her.

Noa was just growing up to be a ball of sunshine and the boys wouldn't ask for it any other way, she brightened the city just by smiling at everyone, even Lala who apologised and is now best friends with little Noa.

The rude boys would sit on their posts and just watch as Noa would play with all the children and it was also where they could see any potential danger coming for her, their little angel.

They hadn't taught her how to defend herself yet they were waiting until she was nine or ten but of course not everything goes according to plan.
