the door of the room flew open with a doctor walking out, everyone stood up on their feet and waited for him to say anything.

"is she alright?!" everyone asked in unison, the doctor sighed and rubbed his forehead while licking his lips nervously. "I'm afraid not... she needs to be transferred to a different hospital, specifically Mayo Clinic, she is in critical condition at the moment."

"w...what's going on?..." hina asked while she held onto her shirt tightly, the doctor looked down, "She has stage four cancer, she needs to be transferred to Mayo Clinic..."

The news caused each and every one of them for their heart  to drop down at the pit of their stomach. Their minds running wild.

They were all now making their way to the states and nobody has said a word to one another ever since the news broke out to them.

"Why didn't you tell us Emma?.." Draken asked while looking at the blonde who just stayed motionless as tears streamed down her face. "She didn't want any of you to know.." He chuckled dryly and buried his face into his hands as a drop of tear fell down his face.

After hours and hours they have finally arrived, but they needed to find a place to stay first because who knows how long they will need to stay here?

Takemichi placed his girlfriend onto the bed and kissed her forehead.

He then headed back to the others, "you guys should take some rest.." they all shook their heads and takemichi sighed, "y/n wouldn't want for you guys to do this y'know? so please just lay down for a bit and rest, for y/n." at what he said they followed and laid down while dozing off.

Soon they all fell asleep except the yellow haired boy who sat on the kitchen table while staring off into space. His heart had shattered after finding out, he sighed and drank water.

Why y/n? Why her of all people?! She's done nothing but good for people so why her of all people...

He messed up his hair in frustration and cried quietly.

It was currently one the morning and she slowly opened her eyes, she looked around her and noticed she was connect to a bunch of tubes, her eyes widened and she got up quickly, she was alone in the room and she sighed.

"water..." she mumbled while looking around the room, the door to the room then opened and she flinched back, the doctor widened his eyes and walked over to her quickly. "water...!" he walked off and came back with a bottle of water and watched as she drank.

"it's been awhile y/n."
