It started when I was 16 years old as a junior in high school. I did very good in all my classes, I made a lot of friends, and I was talented in MMA that soon I would be close to achieving my goal as a UFC fighter. today was a regular day in school and I was walking to the cafeteria for lunch when I noticed a boy picking on a girl and I approached him.

Y/N: excuse me?

the boy turned and faced me.

Boy: what do you want?

Y/N: leave her alone.

Boy: why she's a nerd.

Y/N: hey I mean it. don't make me ask twice.

Boy: or what loser?

he then tried to push me and I set my backpack down and I shoved him and he fell back and I got on him and put him in a guillotine choke and he tapped out after 5 seconds and I let him go.

Y/N: are you going to leave her alone?

Boy: y-yes I'm sorry.

Y/N: good. leave.

he then got up and walked away. I then went over to the girl.

Y/N: are you okay?

Kitagawa: yes . what's your name?

Y/N: Y/N. what's your name?

Kitagawa: Kitagawa Marin. nice to meet you.

Y/N: nice to meet you too.

she then hugged me.

Kitagawa: thank you for standing up for me. my hero.

I blushed a little bit.

Y/N: n-no problem. so what class are you going to?

Kitagawa: I'm actually going to lunch. do you want to sit with me?

Y/N: sure. I'd love to.

I then picked up my backpack and we went to the cafeteria and sat at our table. while we were eating we were chatting and we had a great time. Later that day we were walking home from school. we got to my house and I asked her something.

Y/N: hey um kitagawa?

Kitagawa: yes?

Y/N: could I get your number if you maybe want to hang out this weekend?

Kitagawa: of course.

we then exchanged phone numbers and she went home. I went in my house and was surprised that I got her number. I then smiled.

Y/N: I really like her.
