listen up you disgusting pig,
leave my beast friend alone!

There was always a reason why Esmeralda never left the house without someone, there was this boy who repeatedly teased her. The teasing turned into flirting and then it turned into unwanted attention, everyone could see it, even her that attention was unhealthy but why couldn't he?

The boy in question was her next-door neighbor, Manolo Hernandez. A boy around her age who was good-looking and got his way with other girls. He was much older than her, the same age as her older brother but that never stopped him.

There was this one incident that had shaken her up but thankfully her family was there to save her and put a stop to his obsession for a bit. Her family took this seriously, and things were never the same for her.

"Alma, wake up! We have somewhere to be soon!" A brutal shake woke her up, making her jolt her eyes open. "Do you have to wake me up like that? Idiot!" Esmeralda slapped her brother's shoulder hard making him scream. It was the normal routine in the Sanchez household, normal bickering coming from the siblings while their mother and father roamed the house.

Esmeralda would drag her brother out of the bathroom while she took a quick shower and did his morning jog around their neighborhood. When he returned he would hop in the shower while singing his heart out to whatever he had in his mind. On the other hand, Esmeralda had her daily problem finding something to wear.

Behind her closed door, she pulled some outfits appropriate to war to breakfast. Yet she began to overthink, thoughts of the cute boy spilled into her mind making her groan. She wrapped up whatever thoughts were in her mind, picked up an outfit she liked best, and began to do her makeup.

Mornings like these made her happy, she would do her makeup while her brother's annoying singing ran through the house. Her parents talking near the kitchen and living room, and something she could hear them giggling and in love. Her concentration was cut short when a knock was heard on her door, she told them to come in, making her look who was at her door.

"Estas lista?" Her father smiled at her, making her smile back. "Si, dame un memento!" She wrapped up her lipstick combo before grabbing her purse. "Otra cosa, Claudia esta afuera te quiere dar algo." Her father told her making her confused about what the other girl might want.

Esmeralda walked outside, smiling as she caught her best friend talking to her mother. "Ah, Alma!" They both looked at her making her smile and greet her too. "Well, I'll leave you two alone."Her mother bid Claudia goodbye, earning one in return.

"So, what's up?" Esmeralda smiled at the petite girl who smiled brightly. "I got you this!" Claudia exclaimed at her, finally letting her see what was behind her. It was a compact mirror she was eyeing the other day, but she never thought her friend would buy her it. "No way! Thank you so much!" Esmeralda smiled brightly, grabbing it out of her hands, and analyzing it. She hugged her tightly, giving her a cute kiss on her forehead. "Okay, Okay! Anyways where are you going all cute?" Claudia pulled away from the tight hug and asked her.
