Randi's POV
I get up to my loud alarm ringtone, and brush my hair into a ponytail. I get dressed, grab my phone and go downstairs for breakfast. Mrs. Phil is waiting for me, and I stick my tongue out at her while she looks at me in surprise. I laugh while grabbing bacon, eggs, and pancakes. After I finish eating, a boy with black hair, about my age, (13) comes over and sits down with me. I look at him, "Hello. May I ask who you are?" I inquire, "My name's Alec, I'm new here. Could you show me around?" He says in a soft voice, "Maybe. Let me think about it." Alec runs his hand through his hair and reveals hints of blonde, I don't trust people who dye their hair. "What's your name?" He asks with a curious look, I reply "Randi." He stares at me again, with a dazed look on his face. "Will you go out with me?" "-What?" I slightly spit out my orange juice, wow. Really attractive Randi. "I said, will you go out with me?" "I -uh -em" I am interrupted by Mrs. Phil, announcing a new couple, ready to adopt. She stares at me like a shark, stalking her prey, "And you- Ms. Randi, you're first." I look at Alec and stand up, with a mischievous smirk on my face. I walk in, and they ask about me, "Hi, my name is Randi Biersack, I am 13, I like blue, I love playing the drums and my parents are dead." The couple stares at me. I walk out trying to muffle a laugh. Alec asks me what happened, "I'll tell you later." I sat down with him. "Alec Joseph, you're up." Alec looks at me scared, and I smile at him. He stands up and walks towards the room. I go upstairs and watch 'Maze Runner' in my room and get a text from an unknown number
(666)-666-6666: Look behind you.
I look behind my bed to see Alec outside my window. I burst out laughing. I pull up the shutter. "Come on! Let's sneak out! Mrs. Phil is watching a marathon of, 'The Bachelor'!" I think about it, "Where would we go?" "Nowhere! Just cruise around on my bike!" I turn off the Maze Runner and grab my phone and earbuds. I grab my purse and we run. Basically, run.
