Lloyd was getting ready for bed he had a big day of protecting the city and tomorrow might be another big day he had just finish brushing his teeth he laid in his bed and read a book that was on his nightstand as he started reading someone knocked on his door it was his father sensei garmadon you ready for bed son he asked yeah i'm just reading dad said Lloyd alright don't stay up late reading son you'll need your energy for tomorrow said garmadon i won't said Lloyd night son said garmadon night dad said Lloyd after his father closed his bedroom door Lloyd went back to reading at 10:20 he started to feel sleepy he finally fell asleep at 10:40 the book he was reading was on his blanket Misako came in to check on him she removed the book and put it on his nightstand she looked at the clock it was real late she tucked him in Lloyd turned on his side towards the wall she gave him a kiss on his cheek good night my little brave green ninja said Misako she turned off his lamp and closed his bedroom door and headed back to bed
The next morning Lloyd was still asleep Misako was making breakfast in the kitchen Garmadon went to go check on Lloyd i hope my son isn't sick he said while walking to Lloyd's room kinda worried he open the door to see his son still sleeping he went over to Lloyd's bed shook him gently Lloyd,Lloyd he said while shaking him Lloyd began to awake Dad he said while still waking up morning my sleepy son said garmadon helping his son standing up Lloyd went to go get ready for the day garmadon went to the dining room is Lloyd coming asked misako his getting ready i got him up said garmadon finally Lloyd came into the room morning Lloyd said misako morning mom said Lloyd as he sat down He began to eat his breakfast sandwich were you up reading late asked garmadon i was up until 10:20 said Lloyd you were asleep at 10:40 when i came in to check in on you said Misako mom you don't have to check in on me while i'm sleeping said Lloyd kind of embarrass after breakfast Lloyd went outside to find the other ninja training Hey Lloyd come train with us called out Kai ok i'm coming called out Lloyd as he ran to them
Garmadon was out on the porch from his and misako's bedroom looking at his son training with the other ninja Zane used his ice moves against Lloyd NINJA GO they both called out it was even at first but lloyd manage to knock zane out nice job Lloyd said Zane thanks you wanna go again asked Lloyd ok but this time i'll win i'm a nindroid after all said zane well i'm the green ninja and i can beat anyone said Lloyd Garmadon chuckle lightly as he heard his son say that he then sighed and look down sad as he walked away look at the old photos of Lloyd when he first became the green ninja and moved in with the ninja he was only 10 now he was 14 he had grown so quickly i need to spend more time with my son before he grows up anymore said garmadon he went back onto the porch and sighed as he look as his son hey dad check this out called out Lloyd as he use his powers on zane from behind great work son called out Garmadon trying to seem impressed let's go inside i think we've done enough training for today said Kai
The ninja went inside to the kitchen for lunch they had sub sandwiches as the ninja laughed and talked garmadon look behind the corner he look at how happy Lloyd was he sighed as went back to the bedroom thinking that he never got that chance with Lloyd or spending some father son time lloyd have had mother and son time when he first met misako but not with his father is everything ok asked Misako from the doorway it's Lloyd i can't stop thinking how fast he's grown up and i wasn't there to see it happen said garmadon i know i felt the same way when i first saw him said misako as she sat down beside him we never got to spend time with him as he was growing up said garmadon i feel like we're losing him by letting him grow up said misako they both sighed as they look at the picture of Lloyd with the other ninja when he was 10 years old
At bedtime Lloyd came back very late with the other ninja after he brushed his teeth he floped onto his bed and went to sleep his parents came in Misako held him and started to rock him Lloyd was to tired to wake up garmadon sat beside her and stroke Lloyd's hair after awhile misako laid her son in his bed garmadon and misako both tucked him in misako gave him a goodnight kiss they both stood outside his doorway knowing that tomorrow he would be sleeping in the next morning the other ninja were in the city fighting while lloyd was still asleep after they got back Lloyd woke up hey what's going on asked lloyd still tired we just got back from the city you were still asleep so we didn't want to wake you said kai next time let's not stay out on a mission said lloyd i agree said Cole as they laughed misako and garmadon look at Lloyd with pride knowing he was the best son they could ever have
