A CHEERY FEELING RUSHED THROUGH CHRIS' BODY, he was currently picking up the lacrosse balls and putting them away when the feeling ran through his body. it felt like he was being wrapped in a warm towel after being in a cold pool.
"hey matt!" chris called out, looking over to see matt already looking at him since he called out his name. "guess what" he said, going closer to him.
"whats up?"
"my soulmate, shes not sad right now" chris smiled. "shes been upset forever now and shes finally happy". but chris already knew that her happiness would only last so long before she went back to being upset over something.
just like how he was upset for a certain amount of time. she was the complete opposite of him.
he cherished the feeling of her being happy, it was so precious to him. precious to her because she was happy and precious to him because it made him happy. anytime he got the rush feeling of her being happy, it always made him happy.
