Today is the second semi-final. Where Donatella will perform for the first time, in front of spectators, in Eurovision.
Lucky for her, she's already advanced, so this will just be a warm-up for the final.

She was already dressed in her dress and her makeup and hair were done. The makeup artists and hair stylists did a beautiful job, she has never felt so beautiful. Her hair was slightly curled, she wore silver jewelrly's, and she wore high-heeled shoes.

She had a small stomach cramp, but it was nothing compared to before.

This is when they asked her to go to where the contestants are waiting. Donatella took her seat and waited patiently for the second semi-final to begin. To her left was Lithuania, and behind her was Germany. Italy, that Donatella sat on the edge.

The hosts, Malin Åkerman and Petra Mede, started the second semi-final.

Former contestants sang as presenters, such as Helena Paparizou singing My Number One, Charlotte Perrelli singing Take Me To Your Heaven, and Sertab Erener singing Everyway That I Can.

The performances of the contestants began.

When Estonia started to sing, Donatella was called to prepare, although she was next.

When Estonia came off the stage, Donatella went out onto the stage, where then was everything in dark. Her choreo started lying on the floor, so she laid down in the middle of the stage, where the equipment for her song was already around her, and everyone left the stage except for the dancing people.

There was grave silence in the great hall. Suddenly there was a pop in her earphone, indicating that she could start singing. The lights turned red and the music started.

All of a sudden, Donatella noticed that the music was already over, and she didn't make a mistake.

-Grazie! Thanks! Thank you very much! - she screamed into the microphone after her song, with her biggest smile. She and the dancers walked off the stage where Linda, her manager, was waiting for her.

-It was nice! This is how it should be done in the final as well! - Linda said and hugged Donatella.

-Thanks! - she said, then went back to her place where the other competitors greeted her with cheers and claps.
-Thanks! - she said, surprised, but laughing, she walked back to her place and sat down.

When all the contestants performed the song, Malin and Petra came on stage to stop the voting.

Now it finally becomes clear who will be in the final.

Israel, Netherlands, Armenia, Switzerland, Greece, Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia, Austria and Norway advanced. This ended the second semi-final.

Donatella went into her dressing room, where she was washed off her make-up and changed back into her casual clothes.

On her way out, she met the twins and Marina in the corridor.

-Hii! - said Donatella and hugged Marina. -You were very good!
-I wasn't better than you! - Marina said and let go of her friend who hugged the twins.

-It was really good! - Marcus said and hugged her.
-Thanks! - said the girl and hugged Martinus.

-Hi! You were really perfect! - Martinus whispered into her ear while hugging her.
-Thank you! - said blushing and letting go of Martinus.

They both looked at Marina and Marcus who were smiling at them.
-What? - asked Donatella and slapped Marina on the shoulder.
-Auch, hey! - she said to which they all laughed and started walking out of the building.

The stars were shining beautifully in the dark sky, while they were trying to catch a taxi. All four got into a car and told the driver who to take where. Marina got out of the car first, as her hotel was the closest.

As they made their way to Donatella's hotel, the three of them stared at her phone for the new news about Joost Klein's disqualification.

-Dutch artist Joost Klein was excluded from the Eurovision Song Contest due to an incident behind the scenes - she read out loud and then clicked on the link.

-A female member of the production crew accused the Swedish police of intimidation. According to a statement from the Holland Song Festival, Klein "indicated several times" that he did not want to be filmed and that he "did not touch the woman with the camera".

-Nooo - said Marcus.
-But he didn't even touch her! - said Martinus.
-Well, who knows... - she began, and both boys looked at her.

-Quality Hotel View - said the driver, then she thanked him.

She was about to open her wallet to pay for the ride when someone else reached out his hand and gave the driver money.

Martinus paid her way.

She looked to her left in surprise where the boy was smiling at her.

-I could have paid it off!
-It's too late - Martinus said, then flashed his most smug smile.

Donatella looked back at the boy as if he was the most annoying person in the world, then gave Marcus a hug, then turned to her left to give Martinus a hug, but the boy was already standing on the street, waiting for her to get out of the car.

She got out and gave a hug to him, who in the meantime gave her a kiss on the, cheek, which made her heart skip a beat and blush like a tomato.

-Bye! - she said when they let go of each other.
-Bye! - he said with a smile.

-Bye guys! - greeted Donatella once more to the boys, when both of them were already sitting in the car, waving to the girl.

As she went up to her hotel room, she thought that none of the boys had paid for Marina's trip, which filled her with sincere happiness (sorry Marina).

When she got to her hotel room, the first thing she did was throw her things in the floor and lay down on her bed.

After 5 minutes of doing nothing, she sat up in bed to called her brother, who was dreaming the dream of dreams in Italy, because it was really late.

-What? - asked the sleepy voice on the other side of the phone.

-Daniel! - began the girl excitedly.

-You don't want to tell me what happened in the second semi-final, do you? I watched the whole on TV, well, maybe I fell asleep a few times. - said her brother.

-Um, yes I do want, soo... - Donatella began excitedly to tell him about her day, but she was even more excited to tell her brother that Martinus paid for the trip and planted a kiss on her cheek.

It wasn't a big deal, but it meant the world to her.
