'Curiosity killed the cat.'
A famous saying when curiosity gets the better of you and clouds your judgement which at last leads to your own destruction.

Edward Claverton, An Angel of Heaven finally understands the meaning of that saying as he stands in trial. Shackles binding his wings and wrists, his eyes on the ground but he could still feel the intense stares of the higher-ups. Soon, God will arrive and judge his case but was it  truly his fault?

'Remember me as how a flower remembers the warmth of the sun.'
A line from a poem that a sweet voice had uttered to a devil. Of course, the devil had thought it was stupid and cringe as he laughed it off. 'Such a sappy line.'

Vincent Windfourd, That very Devil finally understands the depth of that simple line as he stands in the court of Heaven itself. His heart aches as he sees his beloved standing down there,
stripped of his glory and purity with dirty and creased clothes which once were white like clouds, hazel eyes now blurry as he holds back his tears.

Oh how he remembers those beautiful, divine wings which held such pride but now looked so weak and pitiful as they were incaged in those shackles. What can they do? What even happened for them to reach such a place of no return?
