Mingyu loved waking up in the den the morning after a run, surrounded by the pack. It was even better to wake up with Wonwoo and Sunoo by his side. It had taken Wonwoo a good week after they'd returned to the pack to pick a name for the cub. He'd struggled to work through all that had happened and the memory of all those they'd lost. Finally, he'd asked for Mingyu's help, and together, they'd chosen the name Sunoo. It wasn't a name that had any significance to Wonwoo or to the pack. They just both liked the sound of it. It seemed to suit the little guy, too.

When Mingyu propped one eye open, expecting to see a room full of people, he found only Wonwoo stretched out by his side. Joshua was crouched next to them, reaching for Sunoo.

"I've got dibs on babysitting duty," the omega said, lifting the cooing infant into his arms. "Don't I, little guy? Don't worry, I'll keep him occupied while you two are busy."

"Busy?" Mingyu asked, pushing up on his elbow. "Why...?"

And then he caught Wonwoo's scent.

"Oh."

Joshua raised an eyebrow and grinned. "Yeah, 'oh.' Jihoon's sending down breakfast."

He stood up with Sunoo in his arms, which prompted Wonwoo to wake.

"What's going on?" the omega asked, his voice heavy with sleep.

"Don't worry, Sunoo is in good hands," Joshua said. "And Mingyu will take good care of you."

"Care of me? Why...?" The omega sat up, rubbing his eyes and staring around blearily. "Where'd everyone go?"

"They're giving us some privacy," Mingyu said, tugging the sleepy omega into his arms.

"Privacy?" Wonwoo reached for Sunoo, and Joshua crouched down beside him with the baby in his arms.

"Morning, kiddo," Wonwoo murmured, nuzzling his cheek.

Mingyu saw the moment the omega caught onto what was going on, his eyes widening. "Oh."

Joshua laughed. "Not you, too. You're both clueless."

"It's endearing," Mingyu insisted.

"Hopeless is more like it."

Wonwoo leaned into Mingyu's embrace and stroked Sunoo's head. "Be good for Joshua."

"He's barely a month old, how much trouble can he be?" Joshua said.

"He's a fox. We're born tricksters," Wonwoo replied with a yawn.

"I won't take my eyes off him," Joshua promised.

Wonwoo gave him a sleepy smile. "Thanks, Shua."

Joshua carried Sunoo from the room, and Mingyu turned Wonwoo in his arms so he could see the omega's face.

"It's not your first heat, I know." Sunoo was proof of that.

"But my first with you," Wonwoo said, stretching lightly. "I wasn't expecting one so soon."

It was unusual, but not impossible, for an omega to go into heat only a month after they'd given birth. "I know. Whatever you need, I'm here."

He wouldn't push Wonwoo into anything. If all he wanted was someone to hold him, Mingyu would be that someone.

"I have a question," Wonwoo said.

"Ask away."

"Do... do you want a baby? Because that's the natural consequence of a heat fifty percent of the time, and we haven't had that talk yet."

"I'd love another cub." He saw the way Wonwoo's face lit up at the word 'another.' "I'd love lots of cubs. But it doesn't have to be now. I'm happy to wait if you're not ready."
