The week that changed everything

The week of the twos honeymoon was spent with the two desperately trying to figure out how to safely have a family together.

Alastor read up on books about hellborn magic and how it works, he found out that hellborns who have magical abilities get them when they are about 5 or 6 years old.

He also learned that if a hellborns powers are never used then when the child is 16 a counter spell could be done, ultimately making the powers disappear completely from not being used.

Alastor became hopeful when he read on that, he told Lucifer about it who beamed with excitement and hopefulness but alastor remained him to not get too excited.

Alastor knew that when hell finds out about the child the greedy people will try to do something sick, because even though it was a dangerous gamble taking a child away.

Alastor knew that if someone had the will to they would and the thought of a child living in fear from being stalked or even worse killed him inside.

Lucifer cried as he thought about the possibility of a their child being hurt by others, but he also knew that alastor was right.

That night of the first day ended with the two sleeping in their own master bedroom. Alastor stayed up a while reading some more and being in deep thought.
How do you have a child without hell knowing when the child is born from royalty?

Alastor felt Lucifer shift next to him, he looked down at his sleeping husband who was tossing a bit. Alastor put his book down and placed his hand on Lucifer's side, his heart was beating very fast which concerned alastor.

Lucifer began panicking in his sleep and alastor was quick to respond. He layed down on his side gently wrapping his arms around Lucifer, Lucifer turned the other way waking up.

His demon form was out for a second as he was scared, he then looked up and saw alastor's face and his form faded slowly as he wrapped his arms around alastor clinging to him as he rested his head on his chest.

"Night terror?" Alastor asked softly looking down at his husband who looked up and nodded as small tears fell from his eyes. Alastor wiped the tears from his face and pulled his head into his chest, Lucifer sobbed softly into alastor's chest as alastor soothed his hair.

"Shhhh~ I've got you." Alastor whispered
The two fell asleep in each other's arms as the unsettled feeling washed away and was replaced with calming love.

The next day was spent relaxing as the two were both in bed most of the day hugging and reading while relaxing. They both enjoyed the comfortable silence that was in the air while they were resting in their room.

The room was massive, a king sized bed with canopy on it was on the wall. Pictures from the wedding were huge on the walls, a large glass window that looked outside of the manor had overlooked all of hell.

Alastor was reading up on some tips for comforting and care when he heard a poof right next to him. He looked over to his side were Lucifer was laying down only to see he was not there anymore, alastor was confused but didn't think much of it considering Lucifer could teleport.

Suddenly he felt something on his arm, he looked down to see Lucifer shape shifted into his snake from and had coiled himself around alastor's arm.

"Luci, what are you doing?"
Alastor asked as he brought his arm with Lucifer to his face. Lucifer smiled at him and quickly slithered down onto alastor's chest coiling himself onto his floof. Alastor chuckled as he ran his finger over to top of Lucifer's head.
