2 weeks later...
The expo finally arrived and the students are a bit nervous that almost wet the clothes by the above-mentioned.
Irina was one of them, as she prepared it last night and tried to do the possible thing to get it done but however to calm down the nervousness she decided to look at Ismael which is the only one who make her heart beat stronger than a drum, Ismael was practicing his part of the exposition quietly to refresh his brain but he felt watched by someone, his body felt tremble on that stare.
When he looked around he noticed it was Irina who kept astray on his beauty to low the fluster, Irina just apart the eyes off his's.
Irina flushed again, she felt like her face was burning no by the sun but the flustering.
TEACHER : congrats to the group number 3,you did a great job.
CAROLINE : thank you so much.
They sat down with a smile on their faces.
Shirley and Caroline also watched how Irina was practicing her lines trying to not block her memories, the girls stood next to her and said...
SHIRLEY : Irina, is everything okay?
Irina got goosebumps hearing Shirley.
IRINA : Shirley, at least ask for permission do you?
SHIRLEY : sorry but you worry me with the nervous so I just ask you if you are ready.
IRINA : y-yes, I am ready.
CAROLINE: I hope your exposition will be a success, I really want it.
IRINA : thanks,
TEACHER : group number 4, pass to the front please.
SHIRLEY : oh, is my turn, wish me luck.
IRINA : good luck Shirley.
25 minutes later....
TEACHER : thank you for the group number 4, good job.
IRINA : you did good job Shirley.
SHIRLEY : thank you pretty.
TEACHER : ohhh, one group is missing right? (smiling)
Which one is? Raise your hands the last group number 5.
Irina and the rest raised their hands.
-so please pass to the front please.
They put the SeaShells on their table to show them which they picked up at the beach, they put in the following order
1- Celine the leader
2- Kenneth
3- Luna
4- Ismael
5- Irina.
Irina was the last one in the group to talk about the SeaShell, Celine started talking about hers first opening with an introduction previous to the show then she started explaining the origin of the SeaShell.
Time skip....
It was Ismael turn, Irina was focusing on his charisma, self trusting and the clarity he speaks to the students, even the teacher surprised respectfully to the above-mentioned.
Celine were secretly looking at Irina to see her reaction to Ismaels exposition, she has a 6th sense referring to mirroring through Irinas eyes, the Canadian notice Irinas eyes had been representing interest, attention and love while her face according to Celine looked like a fall-in-love girl but she just hide it to everyone.
Now Irinas turn finally arrived and now she felts safe, she first asked to the rest of the class if they had seen the SeaShell, they denied so she started talking with no remorse explaining in detail the seashell.
Shirley and Paulette shocked with her explain, they were sure she's actually going to achieve the opportunity to go to a college or be a biologist in silicon Valley, her teacher also thought the same.
Meanwhile Ismael had been looking at Irina with love eyes paying attention to each detail her mouth got the words out, however his 2 best friends felix and Kenneth were just giggling silently trying to not being caught by Ismael.
Making sure there was something strange with that stare, everyone clapped and cheered at the moment Irina finished, then they picked up the SeaShells and sat down again.
TEACHER : guys you should know how proud I am with you, every group did a great job preparing yourself the exposition.
STUDENTS : thanks teacher.
TEACHER : Specially Irina which is a nervous girl who can't control herself but she kept the right control overall, no letting it come out and ruin the exposition.
2. Ismael also did a great job choosing the SeaShell, speaking of the origin and the shape.
3. Celine the leader, I thank you for your support to the group, the efforts you put in the search is seen.
CELINE : thanks teacher.
But what caught my attention is the way he talked about the SeaShell,
Ismael looked at the teacher confusedly, he thought he was found by her.
- i mean when he said the SeaShell was perfectly pretty he glanced to Irina.
The whole class started screaming and glancing at them with a smirk while they blushed by the embarrassment.
- was that true Mr Johnson?
ISMAEL : ehm... I better go to the restroom sorry.
TEACHER : hey, where are you going to? (frowning)
Ismael ran quickly to the restroom, locked his cubicle and sat down on the toilet while he put his knees on his face trying to wonder or maybe snipe his mind off that teacher's declaration,
POV ISMAEL :
Oh gosh how my teacher noticed it, what's so special at the moment to speak about that seashell? Maybe she suspect that the SeaShell had something special respect to Irina but, how she suspected I like Irina?
Is just she noticed I look at her but different to other girls? Or she represents beauty, peace and joy to my life?
That question spin round my brain, arises when Irina is next to me,
But those questions paused when someone knocked the door...
KNOCK KNOCK.....
Xx : Ismael, are you still in the restroom?
ISMAEL : who's there? I'm still busy.
KENNETH : that's me your best friend, I came here to know if everything's alright.
ISMAEL : yes Ken, but don't worry about me, I'll be back soon.
KENNETH : the teacher is going to finish soon.
ISMAEL : just go away, I'll be out when the exam finish.
Kenneth just left and went back to the classroom,...
IN The Classroom...
TEACHER : Ken, why Ismael ain't coming back?
KENNETH : I don't even know, he just said to leave him alone. (he shrugged)
TEACHER : but I was just giving you a score of your work, why he reacted like that?
KENNETH : maybe when you asked him about Irina, isn't it?
TEACHER : or maybe there's something behind the sudden leaving,
RING.... (exit time)
-guys, I'm glad to see you, you did a good job with the expo, the calcification will be given to your parents the next week.
Kenneth, I will talk to him now right?
He nodded, everyone left the school straight to their house.
Ismael was looking himself at the mirror, watching how his hair was messy, his eyes were red, and his face was wet because of the sweat and tears he drooped. He felt ruined, confused and embarrassed by hiding his feelings towards Irina, he couldn't hold it up no longer.
He washed his face with lots of soap and water until his face gets cleaner, his damp hair shining on the light looked amazing for him, he shake the water with his towel but....
