Chapter 14: Bored? who ever heard such a funny thing?

You'd gotten off the ride of the devil baskets as you'd come to call it and met back with Chris and lilly. Watching them was adorable because he was so much taller than her. Having asked how tall she was she replied with a simple 5'0 ft. Knowing that it was cute considering Chris stands at about 6'1 so he was literally a foot taller than her.

As you came off the adrenaline rush, you suggested taking a break from the rides to calm yourselves and agreed on eating a pretzel together in your wait. It was a good idea considering none of you would be throwing it up, at only having a few pieces.

"Chris i swear to God if you keep hogging that pretzel from poor Lilly i might punch you" You say causing Lilly to giggle. You smiled and winked at her, enjoying the fact she was breaking out of her somewhat sheltered self. You recognized it as she looked at you both. She wondered if you both were competition and then finding out you and Demi were together you could see her relax. Knowing you'd feel the same way, in her situation you tried to make her feel as comfortable as possible. Also knowing how in love Chris was with her it was hard to imagine he'd let her have those type of thoughts. I mean if she didn't, you'd let her know she had nothing to worry about and that Chris loved her dearly.

It seemed that's how you were with people. Always looking to please them and show them just how good they are. It was a perk of having your personality. Most people couldn't keep up. Finding your psychotic tendency a little to frightening for their taste. You couldn't help it if your competitive and a little crazy. It just seemed right to fight over who was better when you were growing up with your siblings. Why stop now when you've fully grown.

"Lilly what should we do next, I'm loving your ideas" You say trying to break out of your trance you'd placed yourself in.

"I was thinking we could try and win some prizes.....it seemed fun when walking by them to others so why not give it a try" she says. Demi nods.

"I think that's a great idea " She said turning to you. After you all agreed. You'd walked up to one where you three a baseball to smash bottles. The higher they were the more money or prises you could get. You were aiming for one of the bottles at the very top that had a hundred dollar bill inside it. Now this game may seem rigged to others but you just need a steady throwing arm. You threw the bell with enough force but it broke the bottle in the middle of the very top row. The male behind the counters jaw dropped and he stuttered out that you could pick any prize from the vendor you wanted. You pointed to this giant Green dinosaur and cheered as he grabbed it down. Turning to Lilly you handed the giant thing to her she looked puzzled.

"Since your our friend now, you should know I look after them and I have no idea where I would put this in my house so it's yours now...everyone knows Chris could never break that bottle" You say whispering the last part making her chuckle and take the giant dino. Lilly could be mistaken for a kid obviously so your motherly instincts of which you didn't know you had kicked in. It wasn't like you liked her, like you did Demi it was more so you didn't want any harm to come to her because she was someone dear to Chris, and Chris was dear to you. It made sense in your head but you'd never voice it out, in fear of looking weird.

You made your way along to other prize winning stations. Demi won a purple turltle, you won a green one, Lilly won a blue elephant while Chris won a Grey one. It was cute as they were tiny regular sized carnivals and each couple got a certain animal. Trecking along the stalls you cam to on that had llamas dangling. You had to try and win one seeing as it was half the size of your body. Throwing a ball at three blocks seemed easy enough, but you only got three trys a turn so you had to make it count. You for sure thought it would take all three tries but as you angled the second throw just am bit higher it knocked all the blocks down and you won yourself a multicolored llama. Demi hugged you from behind and kissed you on the cheek congratulating you.

An orange koala caught your eye on the next stall and you jogged to it, paying the man behind the counter. In order to win you had to take a cork gun and hit the amount of cups it took to win the specific item. The prize being bought with tickets you earn from each cup that falls. Luckily the cups were empty and made from a rather thin plastic. Each on either blue red/purple or green. They were see through so it wasn't that easy but easy enough that you could rack up multiple tickets if you make sure to hit each on and make every cork count. After a few trys your efforts paid of and you took the koala from its hook and showed it to Demi. She congratulated you with another kiss on the cheek and you smiled at her. It was a fun day, but as the night was falling you were getting seriously hungry and looking to eat.

We agreed to grab another corndog and pretzel for each of us. Demi insisting we should share a pretzel to which you obliged. You'd payed for everyone's food much to their disagreements and made your ways to the same table you'd eaten at before. Talking about nonsensical things until something in the conversation jumped out to lilly.

"That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but I can see where your coming from" She said giggling.

"It made a shit ton of sense when I was thinking about it" You said causing Demi to raise a brow.

"Alice I love you but....what the hell." She said making you raise a brow.

"Oh come on" You say exasperated. "You cannot tell me you've never thought of it" You say chuckling.

"Uh no because we're normal...and arn't prone to idiot thoughts that make no sense" Demi says and you gasp playfully.

"Well think about it. Why is the sky blue.....when it's night it's dark because the sun and all its bright glory isn't making it bright. Save for the light of the moonlight. Then when it's morning the sun is blaring itself so why not have the sky be white or something like...since it's so bright" You say not really making sense.

"That's because the ocean is blue....the sky is blue cause of the ocean and chemicals in the air" Chris says and you frown.

"Well now I just feel stupid" You say as Demi laughs pulling you into a side hug.

"Uhm Alice....what made you think of your WWE name as Indigo Benjamin?" Lilly asks.

"Well I really like the color Indigo and thought why not. Then for benjamin....well I got it from a musical artist named Alec Benjamin......I'm not really sure why I just thought it fit, if that makes sense" You say and she nods agreeing it does. It hits midnight and your told the carnival will be closing so you all head your separate ways and go on home.
