"That's true! Both your parents died when they were with you! Now, I lost a brother and a sister-in-law!"
 
 
"What an unlucky child. I would have accepted you if you were lucky for the family. From your younger sibling who died because of you to your parents' deaths, it's all related to you. How could I have a grandchild like you?!"
 

🥀Female Lead's POV

  Those are the worst words I'm hearing at the age of 7 years. old.
 

  I am Park Chae Young, 17 years old.  My nickname is Roseanne. They said my nickname is as bright as an angel since it has a rose in it, but I'm such an unlucky child. 

  While staying at an orphanage for 8 years, someone came by for charity and saw me. 
 
 

🍁THIRD PERSON'S POV
 

A woman in an elegant long dress said, "She's so pretty! I'll adopt her." wearing a ring, bracelet, necklace, and earrings made entirely of diamonds.

The workers of the orphanage practically begged her, placing her hands like this, "🙏," saying, "That's a very good news, Mrs. Jeon. I will write her story. I really, really hope that you won't take back your words, Mrs. Jeon."

"What do you mean?" Mrs. Jeon said, wanting to know the meaning of the orphanage worker's said. Do other people retract what they've said?
 

"I mean, she's already 16 years old, but no one seems to take a liking of her, her story actually. To be honest, it's been getting hard for us to support her financially for her education. She's an incoming Grade 11 student, and her grade level now requires a lot of projects that cost money. Despite receiving thousands of donations, we're still short of money since we have almost 100 children now. At Grade 10, she secretly found a part-time job. But we prohibited her from doing so after she became a victim of attempted rape. We became very strict when it comes to her because her looks really attract bastards." The orphanage worker expressed concern.

"Don't worry, I won't back off my words, no matter what her story is," Mrs. Jeon told the staff members of the orphanage, her smile spreading widely.

"Thank you very much, Mrs. Jeon. Thank you very much. I honestly feel very sad about her soon departure, but I am more than happy to know that she will have a new family. You can call us anytime, Mrs. Jeon, if you have further questions. I will process the papers right away. We will tell you once it's done, and then you can fetch her," said the employee.

The adoption paperwork went through without a hitch. There were no delays.

Mrs. Jeon promised to adopt Chaeyoung, so two days later they picked her up from the orphanage. She took her to their home and gave her a tour of the family. From their butlers, maids, and drivers to her only son.

Now, everyone is gathered in their enormous living room. Everyone is putting their current tasks on hold. Mrs. Jeon now embraces Chaeyoung, and the two of them stands up. The drivers, butler, and maids are seated now, prepared to hear.
 

"Here is 16-year-old Park Chaeyoung. She's going to be my daughter from now on," Mrs. Jeon said, beaming broadly as she presented Roseanne to the group. thrilled to have Chaeyoung as her daughter.

In addition, Mrs. Jeon is the mother of Jeon Ji Hyun, the elder sister of Jungkook. 22 years old. When she was twelve years old, she studied overseas. Mrs. Jeon ended up adopting a girl instead of a boy because of her intense need for her.

"Now! Jungkook, she will be living here. Treat her well." Mrs. Jeon said to her son who has blank expression on his face. He's gazing casually at Chaeyoung and he just came downstairs because he was told to.

Although he is aware of the adoption, he was unaware that Chaeyoung would be arriving today. Still, he's not taken aback. Is this how carefree he always acts? The sole son of Mrs. Jeon So Min, Jungkook, asked, carelessly and without emotion, "I thought you were adopting a boy. What happened to what you said to Dad?" It seemed that he was older than her mother.

"Ah! Whatever! I'll explain to him when he gets home. It's just that I was looking for a boy but got to see this beautiful young lady here," Mrs. Jeon said, caressing Chaeyoung's long, silky, and glossy hair. She was admiring her as she stared at her.
 

Looking at Roseanne with a raised eyebrow, Jungkook remarked, "Mom, can you remove the word 'beautiful'? I can't see such things,"

"Jungkook! Watch your mouth! Look at her! She's so beautiful! A little touch-up for her will make her more beautiful," stated Mrs. Jeon.

She can't help but smile broadly at Chaeyoung's stunning appearance. Chaeyoung has remained silent the entire time since she entered their home. When she was introduced, she grinned. The compliments from Mrs. Jeon made her shy.

She is apologising and showing fear for Jungkook's response. She apologises for being present. She apologises for joining Jungkook's family.
