Sunshine Characrer X Villain

on Speaker !

The hero's team was all in an important meeting with government officials when a phone went off, Nick quickly went to grab his phone and turn it off but one of the important people wearing frankly an awful tie stopped him. "Actually if it's more important than this meeting then why don't you put it on speaker for us." The man said angrily. This guy kinda reminded him of a teacher but he quickly pressed the speaker button and placed it on the table.

Unfortunately he knew who it was, his loyal and loving boyfriend, the villain, Alex was calling him.

"Hey sunshine can you pick up some more cooking chocolate please?Harriet deserves a really good cake for her birthday." Alex asked through the phone.

"Sunshine? Who-" Mike started asking but Nick was already hurrying to end the call.
"Uhh yeah that's fine babe, I'll be home in a few hours and I know you are great at cooking but please don't bake anything without me." Nick quickly told him.
"Oh okay see you later, love you!" Alex said, the heroes eyes widening at the clear declaration.
"Love you too, Bye!" Nick replied, hanging up and having to hold himself back from audibly sighing in relief.

"Boyfriend? Nick since when did you have a boyfriend?" Annie asked, she seemed hurt that he hadn't told them.

"Uhhhm well since a couple years ago...."

"What?! Who is he?" Travis said, leaning across the table, he looked like he wanted to interrogate Alex currently and Mike well he simply looked both amused and defeated.

The important people in suits and horrendous ties were in shock at "such impolite, horrid behaviour" and couldn't believe that  "these Lunatics are considered heroes".

Let's just say Nick was not happy with this outcome especially since he was now expected to invite his coworkers over to dinner with him and Alex. This could only ever end badly.

Alex and Nick were in the kitchen cooking, music playing in the background as they danced around the kitchen table. The table was set and the food was nearly done, all they needed was for their guests to arrive and oh Thor were they panicking.

It felt eerily silent when the doorbell rang, like a wave of impending doom had just washed over them. Nick answered the door while Alex hurried upstairs to 'change' but really he was waiting until the guests had settled in and hopefully wouldn't freak out and attack.

"Hey welcome, make yourselves at home, the food will be ready soon." Nick greeted them abd waved them into the living room where they could see the kitchen table layed out perfectly and the food ready to serve.   

"Where's Alex then?" Annie asked him, placing her bag on the coffee table in the living room.

"Oh he's upstairs getting changed, he actually cooked most of the food so it should be good, obviously it's fine if you don't like it but I asked for some of your favourites." Nick replied, nervously picking at his fingers.

Suddenly Nick looked a lot more serious which confused the others, "Okay listen, Alex is an amazing guy and I know what you'll think when he comes down those stairs but just don't do anything alright, just listen to what he has to say.".

"Nick?" Micheal said, concerned.
"What do you mean?" Annie asked.

Alex walked down the stairs and stood next to Nick awkwardly for a moment until the heroes realised who they were looking at.
"Nick that's- that's...... oh merlin you know don't you?" Annie said, Micheal glaring angrily and Travis gasping, his hand covering his mouth.

"Yes this is Alex, he ummm, do you want to explain?" Nick asked, looking up at his boyfriend, both of them glad that they weren't being attacked yet.

"Yeah okay ummm well you know me as the villian but well, my job is a lot more complicated than that, it is to steal from the rich and foul people, i kill but only those people that have raped and killed then steal their money to give to charities." Alex explained.

"But you fight us, why?" Mike asked him, still cautious and unbelieving.

"Honestly..... you fought me first, I never came after you but you thought I was evil and I never got the chance to explain until I met Nick." He answered, smiling softly at his boyfriend.

It was quiet until Travis spoke up abruptly, "so can we please eat now, it looks really   good.".  They chuckled at Travis's comment and began to eat.

In the end it went unexpectedly well and eventhough Travis, Mike and Annie did conduct multiple missions to spy on Alex, they came to realise he wasn't bad, infact he might truly be good.
