The regretful wish

Chapter 1

Madoka: [sighs] you know Kubei it must be great living in your paws, no responsibility no school no homework just playing with cat toys and basking in the Sun, I wish I was like you

Kubei: well um you see I'm not actually a- but a wish is a wish

Madoka: Um Kubei why do I look like you?

Kubei: you know I can grant wishes right?

Madoka: yeah but I thought I would be a cat not whatever this is

Kubei: oh sweet, naive Madoka haven't your parents told you to think before you wish?

Madoka: um yeah but I tend to forget sometimes

Kubei: Well you see Madoka the thing is that i'm not actually a cat at all, I'm actually an incubator, incubators grant the wishes of the poor unfortunate girls so they become magical girls, if I die and I don't regenerate then you have to take my place

Madoka: um no thanks?

Kubei: Sorry kid, but you have no choice but at least you don't become a witch

Madoka's mind: why did I even make that wish in the first place?
