All-American East Coast Film Festival 2024 : Everything you need to know.
Once again, it's almost time for the East Coast's favourite celebration of all things film: The All-American East Coast Film Festival. The festival is set to take place in Manhattan, New York, from Thursday March 7th to Sunday March 10th 2024, with the final awards ceremony being held on the Sunday evening at the closing ceremony. Last years festival, held in Charlotte, North Carolina received an outstanding 1.8 million viewers on the final awards night. This year, the viewings are expected to rise well over 2 million. Several well known and up-coming actors will be seen nominated under different categories. Names to keep an eye out for include: Matthew Lillard, John Silverback and Dakota Johnson, as well as many others. As well as that, a new awards category has been added for films produced by college and high-school students, the Maya Romero Award for Best Short Film Produced By Students named in honour of renowned actress Maya Louise Romero, will hopefully aim to help young and up-coming actors, directors and play-writes get noticed on a larger stage. The Maya Romero Award will be presented to the winners on Sunday the 10th, at the main award ceremony, following the nomination of four candidates after the premiere of twenty-four short films on Friday the 8th.
