After the terrifying discovery of the werewolf's body, Stiles called the police to see the body for themselves and to finally get Derek arrested.

It wasn't until the next morning that they were able to arrive, Scott, Stiles, and Silvie were all told to stay at the scene and give a statement as to how they came across the body. Scott was being an obedient, good boy, if you'll pardon the dog pun.

Whereas Stiles and Silvie?

Not so much.

After Derek was shoved into the back of the Sheriff's police car, the two snuck over to it whilst no one was inside. Silvie was hesitant to go in and Scott was quietly protesting from a distance once he noticed what the two were up to but Stiles wasn't stopping, he jumped into the front seat and looked through the grate, separating him from Derek.

"Okay, just so you know, I'm not afraid of you," He said confidently to Derek.

In return, Derek just stared at him with eyes that could pierce steel walls.

"Okay... Maybe I am."

"Doesn't matter. I just wanna know something, " He said before shifting in his seat, trying to keep up his cool guy demeanour.

"The girl you killed, she was a werewolf. She was a different kind, wasn't she? I mean, she could turn herself into an actual wolf, and I know Scott can't do that. Is that why you killed her?" He asked, leaning closer to the grate.

Derek lifted his head more and leaned forward, not breaking eye contact from the scared teen.

"Why are you so worried about me, when it's your friend who's the problem?" He said, slightly jerking his head to the side to gesture toward Scott.

"When he shifts on the field, what do you think they're gonna do, huh? Just keep cheering him on?" He wasn't wrong. If Scott shifted whilst playing, he could kill everyone.

Stiles's faith in Scott slightly faltered after Derek said that he started to question whether letting Scott play was the right thing to do or not.

"I can't stop him from playing, but you can..." He said, leaning even closer to the grate.

"And trust me - you want to." He whispered, effectively freaking Stiles out.

Stiles didn't have too long to process that before he felt a pair of hands grab him and pull him out of the car, looking to the side, he noticed Silvie looking apologetically at him which left Stiles with one last person it could be.

His father.

The Sheriff dragged Stiles away from the car by his arm, Silvie followed quietly behind them before they reached a safe distance from the car.

"There. Stand." Sheriff Stilinski ordered. Stiles and Silvie obeyed and stood in front of him.

"Sheriff....I really like your outfit-"

"Shut it, Silvie." He snapped.

"Yes, sir." She nodded and looked down.

"What the hell do you think you're doing??" He asked, looking at Stiles in utter shock.

"I'm just trying to help!" Stiles scoffed, thinking that his dad would have been grateful for his help.

"Okay, well, how 'bout you help me understand exactly how you came upon this?" he gestured to the burial site.

Stiles internally panicked. He realised that he would have to come up with an excuse as to how the trio ended up at Derek Hale's house and found half of a body.
