Volume 1 Chapter 1: Empty Threats?

Lizzy: “Dad, her name is Selena and she hit me today, I want to make her suffer.”

Marcus: “Well, her father is my enemy, but we'll do it, dear, today.”

Lizzy: She smiled big. “Did you see that, daddy? I taught her a lesson.”

Marcus: “I did see it, and you did great, sweetie.”

Lizzy: “I think I'm ready to join the family business.”

Marcus: “You sure you're ready for that kind of responsibility, sweetheart?”

Lizzy: “I am. I want to make our enemies suffer.”

Marcus: He couldn't help but chuckle. “That's my girl. You're just like your old man. But first, we need to plan our revenge on Selena's father.”

Selena: She spits out blood and lifts her head to look up at her captors. "Once I break free, I'm going to kill you both!"

Marcus laughs loudly at her threat. "Oh, please, darling, you're in no position to make threats right now. I have the upper hand here, and there's no escaping for you.”

Selena: She glares at him with disgust. She growls with hatred. "You're only saying that because I'm tied up, asshole!"

Marcus chuckles again, his smirk widening. "Oh, so feisty. I like that. But trust me, once you're untied, you won't stand a chance against me. I've been doing this for years, sweetheart.”

Selena: She smirked. "If I can't kill you or just go for your daughter. She's the weakest link here." She laughed sinisterly.

Marcus's expression turns into one of cold seriousness. "Don't you dare even lay a finger on my daughter, or you'll regret it. Trust me, her only weakness is her small size, but that doesn't mean she can't hurt you just as much. You wouldn't want to see that, would you?”

Selena: She laughs at his threats."Once my father finds out that you kidnapped me. He's gonna come for me. And i'm gonna make sure he spares her just to torture her to death.”

Marcus's smile fades as anger boils up inside him. He clenches his fists, his eyes narrowing. "Your father won't be able to do anything. He doesn't even know you're here. We made sure to cover our tracks. Your daddy is in for a big surprise when he finds out what's happened to you.”

Selena: "That's when you're wrong. I always check with him or his right hand every night at a certain time. And when I don't check in. You're in a world of hurt.”

Marcus's eyes widened in surprise. He didn't expect that. "Damn it," he mutters under his breath. "I should have known you'd have a way to communicate with your father. But it's too late now. We've got you, and there's no way out. Your father will never find you."

Selena: She continued to laugh at his face. "You're wrong again! You might have thrown away my phone. But I have a tracker inside my body. Just in case this happened."
