It is Saturday morning, and Laswell said the Task Force will come at the time of lunch. I told Rio to prepare for them. Cleaning the guest rooms in my house and preparing for the big lunch. I heard all the men in Task Force 141 are built robustly. So just in case.

And yeah, I decided they would stay in my house. It's been empty since my father's death. And I kind of want to live it up, even if it's just for a while.

There are two bedrooms available on the first floor, and three bedrooms are available on the second floor.

Aunt Kate said she would stay over as well but would get back and forth between the property and CIA base because she still has work to do.

My little brother is still fast asleep in his room. I don't mind that; I would like him to take his much-needed rest. He doesn't need to do anything because his sister is here to take care of him.

I was currently sitting in the living room, watching TV on whatever channel was there since I don't watch TV much, when suddenly my phone rang, and I picked it up without looking at the caller since my eyes were focused on the TV.

"Hello?" I said, then immediately got greeted back with a sweet voice.

"Hi, dear. How are you?" I take back my phone and look at who it is; it was Aunt Kate, then place it back in my ear. "I'm good, aunt. How about you?" I answer with a smile.

"All good. I'm sorry to inform you this, and yes, I know we already agreed that we would arrive around lunch, but we couldn't help it because something happened, and we have to depart early." She paused, and I only hummed, letting her continue.

"So we may or may not arrive earlier than intended."

I remained silent as my mind tried to process the word since I was still kind of occupied by the TV. Once I finally registered what she said, I jumped up from my seat and looked back at my phone. "WHAT?!"

I blink my eyes a few times before I hear her talking again. "Yes, dear. I'm so sorry. But I couldn't do anything about it." She sounds really guilty about that, and I feel bad for her.

It's not like it's a big problem for them to come early. It's just that the room hasn't been prepared properly yet, and the food is still in the cooking process. And not to mention, my brother wouldn't like it either if they came without him greeting them himself.

And I also don't want to wake him because I want him to take some more rest because it's the weekend.

"It's not a big deal, aunt. But the room and food haven't been prepared yet. And not to mention, my brother is still asleep; you know how he is if he doesn't greet the guest himself." I can't help but slightly pout at the thought.

"I understand, dear. It's no problem if the room and food haven't been prepared yet; these grown men could prepare them themselves. But about your brother, I would make sure to make it up for him. It's our fault anyway." She gently explains, and it's kind of calmed me down.

I let out a soft sigh as I ran my hand through my hair. "Alright then. See you later, aunt. Safe ride."

"Thank you, dear. See you later." Then she hangs up the call. After that, I look at the clock, and it's still around 9 a.m.

I walked to the kitchen, where Rio and some chefs were preparing for lunch. Because it is somewhat a big kind of lunch, we need many hands.

"Rio, the guests may come earlier. I just want to inform you so the workers won't be startled when they come and think they're late. So can you please inform them to take their sweet time to prepare for the best?" I asked as I leaned against a wall, looking at some chefs going around the kitchen in sync.
