Shots fired, kids dropped like crazy. A kid near us... His face.. it..

Blood splashed on us.

Axel and jade were in a state of shock. They were both frozen, i snapped out of it, grabbing both of them. The man pointed his gun at us. I pushed them out of the way. The bullet went through my ear, ripping the bottom part off. i screamed, The surviving kids ran. The bell rung, Fuck.. 

Me and all the other kids screamed for them to get back in there rooms as we ran down the hallway. the kids hear the pops and bangs and closed the door immediately. I saw my cousin, and his girlfriend. I screamed to them.. his head.. was.. his body fell to the floor. his girlfriend looking back and saw the man. she ran as fast as she could and got shot in the leg. she limped. we tried running to the stairs but the staff closed it on us. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" Jade screamed. The man shot a girl behind us. axel smacked her. "jade for once please. do not scream you're going to get us killed!!" Axel said raising his voice. 

the man in the hoodie was at the end of the hallway we were in. Jade almost got shot.. The bullet grazed her cheek. then shot her shoulder.  i pushed them into the hallway but before i could. i felt a strike of pain, i felt like a body part came off.. blown off even... i looked down. my eyes widened. my foot..MY FOOT?! 

Axel and jade were terrified. "BLOOD... BLOOD!!" I screamed. my fucking foot was blown off. Axel immediately grabbed me and picked me up and grabbed jades hand. we ran losing the man. as we heard pops and booms.  we ran into the girls bathroom. locking it and using a broom to keep it shut just incase. axel moved us to a stall. "Stand on the toilet!!" Axel whispered urgently. axel ripped his sleeve as hard as he could and wrapped my leg to stop the bleeding. jade took her sweater off and wrapped her shoulder as tight as she could onto her bullet wound. "god this hurts so fucking bad.." Jade mumbled. axel helped me go onto the toilet. "Keep your balance.." Axel said to me.

He began to back up.. "axel..?" jade said, "I love you both, But i have to go save my little brother." Axel said. Our eyes were red and puffy enough already. "WAIT AX-" i yelled. he covered my mouth. "please.. survive, even if i don't. I need you two to survive for me." Axel said. jade tried stopping him but he  unlocked the bathroom and ran, jade stood out of the stall in horror.. she was visibly shaking.. we heard pops and booms. covering our ears.. covering my bloody left ear.

The loud speaker turned on. "Hello Salem borough high, Run as fast as you can. Because i will catch.. every...single..one of you.." The loud speaker began to play music.. It was fucking "pumped up kicks." It was playing on loop. Jade and me stood in the stall as she locked it and stood on the toilet. we were horrified. Why.. why does this happen? All my trauma was coming back to me.. i was having a full blown-panic attack. Jade was trying to calm me down but she was panicking as-well.

After 5 minutes a girl came in, it was our friend "jules". "Luna.. Jade.. can i please come in.." she said. we could see her red and black campus adias shoes on. "yes.. please come in.." Jade said. Jules went under the door and came in. Her shirt was covered in blood. Her mascara running down her face. "my cousin.. My cousin.." She said bawling. jade was.. she was officially terrified for her life . Jade quickly grabbed her and moved me to the back of the toilet, i was sitting on the little box on the toilet, were the flush button was. Jules was on the right side of the toilet while jade was on the left. a few minutes more students came in locking themselves in the locker. all you could hear in the bathrooms were throwing up and crying.. 30 minutes went by.. axel came back.. he locked the door and put the broom back. he crawled under the door. Axel was drenched in blood. One foot was barefoot. a long sock wrapped around his thigh."My fucking brother.." axel said crying as he put his back onto the stall door... "my fucking b-brother.." he said.. his voice breaking.. 

i threw up in the toilet. i kept my head down staring at the toilet. My breath ragged. i hear my cousins girlfriend, Nyx. Come into the bathroom and go into the big stall with most of the kids. i heard the stall lock. The kids in the big stall were all calling 911. after 10 minutes or so the popping stopped.. All the kids got out of the stall.. Looking at each other.. Everyone equally terrified and covered in blood. i limped.. there was about 8 kids in this bathroom. Me..Jade, Axel , Nyx , Jules , Zaiden , DJ , Jason. Dj looked at my missing foot. He was horrified. "your.." he began to speak. he stopped himself. 

there was silence for 30 minutes. very few pops and booms..I was starting to feel dizzy.. i looked down.. the blood leaking from the sleeve. The song "Pumped up kicks".. still on loop. we heard yelling. 

"POILCE. PUT YOUR HANDS DOWN AND THE GUN DOWN OR WE WILL SHOOT." we heard from the hallway. there was a very medium sized window at the back of the bathroom and someone broke it with a brick from the outside. "POLICE!" the group of men yelled. They all saw us. A bunch of bloody kids with injuries. i passed out. Dj running to catch me. The police were terrified. We never got school shootings, never. 

The police order all of us to come out with our hands up in a single file line.And we all did.. expect for DJ who had Luna in his hands. we all walked to the parking lot. where ambulance was. we all needed serious medical attention. they put me, jade , axel into a ambulance. the rest of the kids being separated. 

This.. was a day.. we would never fucking forget.
