I tucked myself in my covers and doze off. I stirred awake and look at my clock 3:45am. I go back to the forest to be forgotten and hopefully forever forgotten. I spot a tree house and go in it to sleep.

The next day.

I wake up from the sunlight seeping through the windows. Today was supposed to be a school day but I plan not to go. I look at my watch. It was 10:09am that means people at school are having their break. Maybe even some trying to look after my disappearance. Well maybe not it's only a day but maybe my dad phoned the teachers and Mr. Anderson told the class... Maybe.

Time skip.

It's been a week from my disappearance. I wake up to a loud shouting,

"SCHATZ?!?" The person said.

I recognized the voice and where it was coming from. It was Tom approaching the treehouse I was sat in currently. I heard the creaky ladder. Tom was coming up. I quickly hid somewhere. The door opened. It was for sure Tom now,

"Schatz...?" He said.

At this point I felt bad and started crying since I  was always a sensitive little girl. He heard me and walked up to me,

"I'm sorry..." I said

"Sorry for what it's not your fault, it's mine. I should be sorry schatz I didn't mean to treat you like that. I'm sorry I made you stand by the cliff. I was the one who shot the gun so you wouldn't jump. I'm sorry for letting you go missing," he admitted. I hug him tightly and sobbed into his chest.

I hope you enjoyed my first short story :33
