Bonnie's POV:
It had been a few months since the incident. I was sitting beside Goldie's bed when the beeping machine beside him stopped. Before I could comprehend what was happening, one of the maintenance men ushered me out of the room and put me outside to wait.
Confused, I looked at the door and suddenly felt dread and uncertainty. What was going on? I feared for the worst. I sat by the door, my back against the wall. I tried listening to what they talked about, but it was too muffled.
I put my knees to my chest, thinking 100 miles ahead. Tears of fear prickled my eyes, and I tried to reassure myself. As the time ticked by, my unease grew. After what I assume to be a couple of hours, someone finally appeared, coming out of parts and service.
He looked drained and saddened. I sprang up from my sitting position, stood in front of him, and tried to look over his shoulder into the room where Goldie's comatose state body was. "Is he okay?! Please tell me he's okay!" I begged, my voice raising more than I would've liked it to. He sighed.
"I'm sorry for your loss," he said, tears swelling back in my eyes. "You—you don't mean that! He's alive; he has to be! Let me see him!" I pleaded, praying it had been some cruel joke. He stepped away from the door to let me into the room where Goldie was.
I put my hand on Goldie's shoulder and shook him, but there was no response. I don't know what I expected; he's in a comatose state. I then put my hand on his chest, waiting for his chest to lift my hand with his breathing.
I waited, but that lift never came. No breathing escaped Goldie's lungs, and there was not even a soft one that would be difficult to spot. Nothing, he was dead. I broke down into sobs. I collapsed onto the floor on my knees, sobbing. My face pressed against his chest; I prayed this was a joke; I prayed he wasn't dead.
But I was already too late; he was gone.
I lifted my head and saw Freddy approaching the door, likely drawn by my sobs. "Are you okay? What's going on?" he asked, unaware of the truth. "Goldie's dead," I said through sobs. He came running over, quickly putting his hand on Goldie's chest like I did, not feeling his breaths either.
I saw Freddy freeze. I could tell he was trying to stay calm, but I could see his figure shivering; Freddy took a deep breath before his hand slid back to his side. "I'll... Go break the news to the others," He said, his words slow and carefully chosen as he walked out of the room.
I continued to cry, sitting next to Goldie. I couldn't believe he was dead.
Freddy's POV:
I walked out of the room, trying to keep my composure since I had to break the news to the others, even though the tears in my eyes started to threaten to spill. I wiped my eyes and headed over to where Foxy and Chica sat.\
"Chica, Foxy, I need to talk to you two," I start. They both turn to look at me. Chica seems confused, but Foxy seems instantly worried, seeing the tears in my eyes.
