Chapter 29

Mahika's pov
Today I will be discharged from the hospital. Reyansh came to my room. I went with him. I went towards the car with him. He was helping me to get in the car. He started driving.

When we reached home we saw everyone was waiting for us.

Divya: How are you Mahi?

Mahika: I am fine choti maa.

Abhiraj: You should rest. You are still weak. Reyansh take her to the room.

He took me to the room. He helped me to walk. He was taking care of me.

Mahika: You didn't go to office.

Reyansh: I will work from home.

Mahika: But why?

Reyansh: because I have to take care of my wife.

Mahika: there are a lot of people.

Reyansh: But no one can take care of my wife like me.

He kissed my forehead.

Reyansh: Now you should sleep Mahi.

In evening I opened my eyes. I saw that he was working. He looked at me.

Reyansh: Do you need anything?

Reyansh: You are hungry. right? I will bring your food. Wait.

He went downstairs. He brought soup for me. He was feeding me.

Mahika: I can eat by myself.

Reyansh: But I don't think there is any problem if your husband is feeding you when you are sick.

Mahika: But I am fine now.

Reyansh: Don't argue Mahi. You have wounds in your hand. How can you eat?

He was feeding me. He gently cleaned my face with handkerchief.

Reyansh: Do you want to go downstairs ?

Mahika: Hm

He took me to the living room. Everyone was there.

Divya: Mahika how are you feeling beta?

Mahika: I am good choti maa.

Abhiraj: Have you eaten anything?

Mahika: yes dadu. I ate soup.

Vivek: How did you eat? You have wounds in your hands.

Dipika: Of course bhai fed her.

Divya: Stop this.

Abhiraj: It's good to hear that Reyansh is taking care of you. I hope he will support you like this.

Divya: Why wouldn't he do that? He has to it. After all he got a wife like her.

We went upstairs after having dinner. I realized that he really care for me. I can't get a husband like him who would take care of me like my parents. He is gentle, humble , caring, he also supports me in my work.

Reyansh: What are you thinking Mahi?

Mahika: Nothing

Reyansh: I told you to take your time to think about our relationship. What did you think?

Mahika: I don't know.

Reyansh: Do you want to continue this relationship or not?

Mahika: I am confused.

Reyansh: Do you think I am not a good person?

Mahika: You are best I know. But...

Reyansh: But?

Mahika: I am not the best.

Reyansh: You are the best for me Mahi. You are everything for me Mahi. First of all you don't have to be perfect. Secondly You are really the perfect life partner for me. You are talented. You are caring towards my family and me. What else I need.

Mahika: But I am not slim.

He laughed.

Reyansh:  I didn't know that my wife is so much figure conscious.

Mahika: Don't laugh

Reyansh: You already lose half of your weight due to this accident. I have to feed you more food so that you can gain some weight.

Mahika: Really? I lose weight?

Reyansh: Don't worry. It doesn't matter to me if you are skinny or slim or anything else . I will love you forever.

He kissed my hand and slept beside me.
