Chapter Eight

TAEHYUNG'S POV

I wanted to cry now , I knew coming here and telling his parents was a bad idea , I knew they would hate me , I knew they wouldn't like their son to date a person lik-

Before I could finish my thoughts

Mrs Jeon jumped up from the couch saying a very loud yes and celebrating?

She was almost having a dance as if something really great happened and both Jungkook and I were confused at this point

She looked towards Mr Jeon and stick her left hand out

"Give the card , I won the bet" She said with all authority

Card ? Bet ?

What's happening?

"Seriously Jungkook why did you have to do this to me I am gonna get bankrupt now!" Mr Jeon said giving betrayal look towards Jungkook

He took his credit card and gave it to Mrs Jeon but still Jungkook and I were hella  confused

"Wait what the hell is going on can any of you explain it to us?" Jungkook finally spoke the thing I have wanted to ask but didn't have guts to speak

"Well your father and I made a bet if you were dating Taehyung or not , I said you are and he said you are not so I won the bet" Mrs Jeon spoke happiness all over her face

"You knew Taehyungie hyung already?" Jungkook asked them

"Oh well I didn't know his name but there was a day when I went up to ask you what you wanna have for dinner and your room door was slightly opened I saw that you were on a video call with someone which was really surprising because you never video call someone and then I saw Taehyung on the screen too as it was your laptop you were using for the video call and you were also calling him baby , baby bear and whatnot and I was sure as hell that you both were dating and I even told your father but he didn't believe me so we made a bet and I won" Mrs Jeon explained everything and sat on the couch while crossing her legs and checking her nails

I was so done with Jungkook I don't even know how many times I told him to be careful while having a video call with me , I told him we don't even need to have a video call but he will bug me , annoy me , get sulky if I don't do video call with him

I shot a glare at Jungkook so his parents or let's say Mrs Jeon already knew about our relationship

"Well haha...so you guys are okay with our relationship right? Dad?" Jungkook asked looking at his father who was sitting there all sulky as well

Well if I tell you Jungkook's smile has gone to his mother and rest of Jungkook is a carbon copy of his father and as I am seeing Mr Jeon more and more even the habits of Mr Jeon has been transferred to Jungkook directly

"Of course! I loved and shipped you both since the day I got to know you both are in a relationship" Mrs Jeon was the first to speak and let me tell you it was like one burden off of my heavy chest

Everyone now had eyes only on Mr Jeon waiting for his response

"Well I love my son and I have never stopped him from doing anything no matter if it is love or choosing what he wants to be in the future or how he wants to live his life , even though I would like to know more of you Taehyung but for now I will happily give my permission to both of you" Mr Jeon spoke smiling at the end

OMG! Yes yes yes yessss!!!

I had the biggest smile in the world right now when he said that

I was so damn happy

Everyone was happy in the room

"Thank you so much dad I love you!" Jungkook spoke

"Oh and not me? I have been shipping you guys for like months" Mrs Jeon said

"I love you the most mom you know that just thank you so much for letting me date hyung , honestly hyung was really scared to meet you guys but I made him trust me that you guys will definitely love him and I was right I am glad you didn't prove me wrong mom dad" Jungkook spoke

"Well we understand it Taehyung but you don't have to worry! We are like a family now , you are just like our son" Mrs Jeon said Mr Jeon nodding in agreement

After some while Mr Jeon spoke something which well let's say made my mood completely sour

"Well wanna know something funny when I got to know Jungkook is bringing someone over I thought it was that crush Jungkook had in his middle school" Mr Jeon said laughing at the end

Well till now it was okay , everyone has crushes it's alright right?

"Jungkook was so mad about her oh my god" Mr Jeon continued

"Dad why are you bringing her up? It was in the past" Jungkook said telling his dad not to say anymore

"What? I am bringing it up to tell you how stupid you were in your past , I always told you that you will find someone way better than her but no you would stop eating , won't talk with your mother or me , won't come out of your room , were so gloomy for what? Just cause she didn't give you attention anymore and Jungkook I told you back then too she was a money minded girl she was after you when you were the richest person she knew , then she went after another as that guy must have had  richer than you but you never listened to me or your mother , you know how worried your mother got back then?" Mr Jeon scolded Jungkook but I on the other hand was fucking jealous , I always get jealous when I hear people saying how Jungkook was after someone and it's cause I was after Jungkook for a damn year he never gave me attention so ofcourse I got jealous

"Hmm it's true but leave it honey it's in past now , our Jungkookie is dating someone for 7 months I am happy with that!" Mrs Jeon spoke "Well well I will prepare the dinning table now" Mrs Jeon said standing up "Jungkook why don't you show Taehyung your room hmm? And honey please help me prepare for lunch"

"Coming right up" Mr. Jeon said

Mr and Mrs Jeon were in kitchen now

I was sitting there burning in jealousy

I heard Jungkook gulp and turn around to look at me but I didn't give him attention

"Baby please forget whatever dad said hmm?" He said and tried to caress my cheeks

I slapped his hand away and got up from the couch

"Don't baby me , don't touch me and lead the way" I said asking him to take me to his room

Well I guess Jungkook's parents didn't prove him wrong

But Mr Jeon really put enough diesel to provoke a great fire

Will this effect their seven month relationship?

Will this jealously cost them their relationship?
