12: Anticipation

Jungkook's POV:

As soon as I returned to Seoul, I texted the group to see if anyone wanted to meet up. Within minutes, everyone responded enthusiastically, and we decided to gather at Jimin's place in the evening. 

I arrived, I could see that everyone else was already there. 

"So, how was your trip, Jungkook?" Jimin asked.

"It went well," 

But I felt a weight on my mind.

"Guys, I need to tell you something," I said, hesitating. The room grew quiet, all eyes on me. "It's been on my mind for a long time now."

"What is it, Jungkook?" Taehyung asked.

"I've spent so much time with Aurelia, more than with any other girl. And I don't know what it is, but..."

"I don't know. It's like... I see her as more than a friend."

Everyone stayed silent, giving me the space to express myself. "It feels different. It feels like love, though I don't know what it is."

I paused again, searching for the right words. "It's not love, but it's not just friendship either. I don't know..."

Hobi reached out and patted my shoulder. "Relax, Jungkook. Just tell us slowly."

"Aurelia was very kind to me. She offered me a chance to work with the elites of the business world. She praised me in front of those big business leaders. It felt... incredible."

"And on the cruise, we danced together. It felt special like we were in our world. Her eyes, her smile... everything about that moment felt perfect."

"For a split second, I felt this intense urge to kiss her. Her lips were just inches away, and my heart was pounding so hard. It's like I've never felt anything like that before."

Jimin held a playful grin "That sounds pretty intense, Jungkook."

I smiled back "Yeah, it was. But it wasn't just the good moments. Like when Mark touched her on the cruise. I was so angry, I could barely control myself."

"And then there was the elevator," I continued. "Aurelia was so mad at me. Her face was all red, and she let me have it. But it was kind of... I don't know, it was real. She wasn't afraid to show her true feelings."

Yoongi spoke up. "That's a good thing, Jungkook. It means she trusts you enough to be honest."

Hoseok added, "It sounds like she's not just a pretty face, but someone who can stand her ground. That's special."

I nodded, "Yeah, she's special. But it's confusing. I've never felt this way before."

Namjoon said, "Jungkook, it's important to understand your feelings. If it's love, you should tell Aurelia. Don't keep it bottled up inside."

Hoseok chimed in, "Yeah, and be ready for anything. Expect even the unexpected."

Jin, trying to lighten the mood, flipped his hair and said, "Look at me. Rejected four times by Iseul, but still standing strong. You can handle this, Jungkook."

We all burst into laughter. "Thanks, guys. I needed this."

Jimin patted my shoulder. "That's what we're here for. Just remember, whatever happens, we've got your back."
