I decided to just go to my dorm to see what it looks like. Kind of hoping that my roommate isn't there because I do not feel like talking to anyone today.
A few minutes of me questioning my life passed and I decided to leave my house. I grabbed a few boxes on the way to the dorm so I could start unpacking.
With my GPS leading the way, and SZA blasting through my speakers, the ride went by pretty fast.
When I pulled up to my dorm, I was so glad I had kind of did my thing with my outfit because there were some scrumptious looking men walking around campus.
Before I got out of the car, I looked at the dorm room number.
Room 334, floor 3.
Room 334, floor 3.
Room 334, floor 3.
Room 335? No, 334. Okay, girl get your ass out the car.I tried to exit the car but I realized the door wasn't open fairly quickly. So, I started by opening the door. It should've been the first step but it wasn't. Oh, well.
I got into the elevator and clicked level 3.
There's was this creepy dude with a smirk on his face in the elevator.
He must not know who I am. I get down. I am Mike Tyson. I'll 1, 2, 3 piece combo you like a McDonalds McNugget Meal.
I want McDonalds..
No you don't.
I really don't.
I'm just hungry.
Maybe if I–My thoughts came to an abrupt halt when Mr. Creepy Crawler opened his mouth.
"Hey, pretty lady, what's your name."
In this moment I was so glad I had my headphones on. I have NEVER prayed so hard a day in my life.
Hey, God. It's me. Again. I really need your help right about now. I know I went to church twice last month but please forgive me. Make this man shut his mouth because I really don't want to 4 piece combo like he's a Chic-Fil-A order. Thank you, Amen.
When I opened my eyes he wasn't there. I was so thankful but then my thankfulness came to a pause. I turned my rubber neck to see this fool standing beside me. Looking at me with a grin on his face.
"Uh, sir? Can you like– move. Thanks." I said as I shuffled away from him.
"Anything for you, pretty lady." He winked at me. And moved closer.
Ding.
I rushed out of that elevator so fast you would've thought I was the flash.
Bars.
When I got to room 334, I looked both ways to make sure Creepy Crawler wasn't following me.
Gosh, I really should've bought that gun from that homeless man downtown.
Opening the door, I let out a high sigh of relief once I heard it click behind me.
"The creepy cruisers have already started up this year, huh?"
I froze.
