HRGHRDFRAIUD I'M SORRY AAAAAAAAAA

Apologies for not updating sooner! My motivation usually tanks during the summer months and I tend to laze around to enjoy it to the fullest. BUT, I have been feeling more motivated recently! And I have a surprise at the end of the chapter for those who read it (and for those who don't follow my Tumblr or know my Discord cause then it wouldn't be a surprise :P)

Third POV

Frankly, this battle was not going well for the Alliance. The skibidis were advancing faster than the Alliance could, both in battle and technology. The majority of their forces in the area had been wiped out by the skibidis which left their few remaining numbers scattered throughout the area. The few that remained were badly damaged, aside from two. Plunger Cameraman and a Scientist Cameraman seemed to be the only two active units in the area at the moment.

A small group of skibidis slid around the corner and started to approach the two. Plunger Cameraman nodded to the Scientist Cameraman before removing the plungers from his back and walking towards the skibidis. A stray skibidi rushed at the Scientist Cameraman and the Scientist raised their foot and kicked the skibidi in the face before climbing on top of it and pulling its flusher. As the Scientist looked to their right, an infected Large Cameraman ran around the corner and began running at the Scientist. The Scientist quickly lifted their PDG and fired at the Large Cameraman, the blue ray hitting the Large Cameraman right in the chest. While the Large Cameraman remained unaffected and unharmed, the parasite skibidi on the back of its neck was fried by the ray and fell to the ground. The Large Cameraman looked at the Scientist Cameraman and gave them a classic thumbs up as a sign of gratitude.

Two other skibidis quickly rounded the corner behind the Large Cameraman, and in response, the Large Cameraman kicked the skibidis. One hitting a nearby building and causing a small explosion. Everything stilled for a moment as the Scientist Cameraman turned to face Plunger Cameraman as they flushed the last skibidi. He turned to face the Scientist Cameraman and gave them a thumbs up. It was quiet for a very brief moment before something exploded around the corner behind Plunger Cameraman and something repeating the word "skibidi" over and over again with increasing volume.

A larger skibidi rounded the corner, a large buzzsaw blade encircled its entire body as it hovered in place, staring down the Scientist Cameraman menacingly through its odd looking goggles. It kept repeating the word "skibidi" over and over again, but it quickly went silent as an ominous whistling started. A green streak of light quickly passed over the group, continuing ahead to wherever it was going.

Upon seeing the green flash, the skibidi frowned before looking back at the three units once it realized that the creator of the green streak had simply passed over the area. It looked back down at the agents, resuming its chanting of the word "skibidi" as it suddenly rushed forwards. Plunger Cameraman dove to the ground, the buzzsaw barely missing his dark coat. The Scientist Cameraman on the other hand, was too stunned to move, the buzzsaw got too close to the Scientist Cameraman and their video feed cut to static for those who were watching through various screens and devices.

—-----------------

James kept flying, he couldn't stop, not until he found a real threat, or a unit truly in need. He had seen the Scientist Cameraman and who they were with, and from previous knowledge, James knew the Plunger Cameraman had good enough combat ability to protect the Scientist Cameraman and maybe even the Large Cameraman, though most of the time they could handle themselves.

He heard the dreadfully familiar voice of the G-man Skibidi in the distance, followed by some explosions. James landed in a seemingly empty street, looking around. While it was only early morning, the sky was pitch black from all the smoke caused by the fires burning in such a close proximity. Though this didn't worry James because for the most part, he was fireproof, and he didn't have to worry about breathing in the polluted air either. He looked around the area, spotting a Cameraman in a brown coat shakily standing up while another Cameraman who was missing their entire lower half gave the Cameraman in the brown coat a thumbs down.
