This isn't a request it's just an idea I got. I want to make it clear that in this chapter, MaryLou didn't marry Jimmy she married someone else because Jimmy would never act like this, and I'm fully aware of that. Anyway, please skip if this will trigger you in any way!

Trigger Warnings - Crying, Swearing, Shouting, Overthinking, Anxiety, Abuse, Self-harm
(Lmk if there is anymore!)

Third Person
--------- -----------
What's supposed to be a safe, loving haven was a prison. The triplets never felt safe when at home. With the fear of their farther. They never understood what made their dad like this.

Was it the drinks?

Or was it the stress of having 4 kids?

They just didn't know.

"Matt, Dad's home.. " The youngest says quietly, not wanting the monster to hear the fear in his voice.

"Dad's home, kids!" Mary Lou shouts from downstairs.

"Chrissy, I'm scared.. You know what happened last night. What if he does it again?" The middle voice is rushed and panicked, pain visible, in the young blue eyes.

"I'll get Nick." Chris says before exiting the room.

A pool of anxiety bubbles in the middles stomach, praying Nick will come before their so-called farther does.

Matt sighed as he saw the sight of his eldest triplet, "Thank god you made it."

The boys all snuggle up in the middles bed, hoping the monster will leave them be.

They were wrong.

"Don't you know it's rude to ignore your farther." The voice of thunder speaks.

"You're nothing like a farther. What the hell are you talking about?" Nick speaks, protectively shielding his brothers.

"Someone is being disrespectful." He says, stepping closer.

The eldest being risky also takes a step closer. A flicker of fear can be seen in the man's face.

"You bitch." He says before turning away and exiting the room.

~Time skip to night~

Dreams control the middles mind. A sense of peace drifts around the room.

Quickly distributed by a door opening, his eyes fly open.

"H-Hello?" Matt says, his voice drained from the lack of sleep.

When the person doesn't respond, panic washes over him. The darkness makes it hard for him to locate the figure.

Suddenly, he feels pain shoot through his face. His trembling hands cup his own face, then it hits him.

Dad.

"You worthless piece of shit. You disgust me, and the rest of the family with your dumb anxiety shit! You fucking should kill yourself you basterd!" The man slurs out, anger written in his tone.

He was obviously drunk.

Tears threatening to spill from the soft blue eyes of the middle.

Another round of beating passes. Blood trickles down the side of his face, and bruises are placed randomly on his delicate skin.

"Matty.. Can you please unlock the door? He's gone now." Concern lingering in Nicks voice while tapping on the bathroom door.

The brothers hear a click on the other side of the door. Opening it, the boys see the middle huddled up on the floor, knees placed against his bruised head.

"Matt.. What happened?" Chris voice breaks as a hot tear falls down his face.

"D-Dad happened."

The room falls silent.

Yet the room was silent it felt loud. The emptiness was painful. The mummers from bellow whisper up to the boys.

-

"We really need to move out or something." Chris mummers, frustration laced in his tone.

"We are fucking 16. How are we supposed to move out?" The oldest flaps his hands around making the middle brother flinch.

"Sorry." Matt says.

They needed a plan. They can't keep living like this.

"Let's run away." Chris said simply.

"What?" Nick whisper shouted.

"It's worth a shot." He shrugged.

Before anyone could answer, the youngest vanished into the depths of his own room. Stuffing the importance into a big black bag.

"Come on. Pack." He ordered, picking up Matts bag and tossing it to him.

"I'll leave a note for mum." Matf said, anxiously walking over to his desk as if their dad would pop out of the shadows.

They were ready.

The note was crumpled up on the pearl white duvet. Fear rested on each brothers hearts as they dropped their bags to the damp grass.

"We've got this." Chris said, pushing his own doubts aside to be strong for his brothers.

~A year later~

The sound of the tent unzipping woke the middle up from his bubble dreams. A yawn escapes the dehydrated mouth, which was desperately craving water.

"Morning Matt." Nick said before handing him a cup of fresh water, a warm smile spreads across the middles face.

"Thank you!"

Suddenly, a voice whispers to Matt, the voice takes him into the world of overthinking.

He's behind you.

You will pay for your mistakes.

Worthless piece of shit.

"-att? Matthew? Matt?" Someone spoke loudly, turning to face where the noise is comic from he is greeted by a worried Chris.

"Huh? What?" Matt stumbled over his words.

"You okay?" Nick spoke softly, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah."

The brothers shared a knowing look. Deep down, they knew something was up with their brother.

"Okay.. I'm sorry. Sometimes d- Mike's words come back to me. I'm sorry, I can't help it." The middle says, lowering his gaze from his brothers.

"It's okay, Matty. We can help you if you tell us, okay? We love you." Chris says, love embraced in his tone.

"I love you guys, too."

Sorry that it takes me ages to write, u literally have no motivation at the moment.

I got this idea from listening to the song, so I thought I might as well.

I can't believe the triplets are 21!? It's crazy!

I hope you guys are having a great day or night and that I love you guys so much!

Bye! X
