In twilight's hush, where shadows blend,
Our tale of longing does extend.
The cat-now-human, wandering wide,
Seeks solace where the heartstrings hide.

Through city streets and forest glade,
She chases echoes, hopes they fade.
In every face, in every glance,
She yearns for love, a fleeting chance.

A kindly soul, with eyes so kind,
Once crossed her path, a heart entwined.
He saw the sorrow in her stare,
The silent plea, the hidden care.

He offered friendship, pure and true,
A bond that neither ever knew.
In whispered words and laughter light,
They shared their days, dispelled the night.

But deep within her, still a storm,
A feline heart in human form.
She felt his warmth, his gentle touch,
