Joy's POV
The sound of a truck passing by woke me up, taking my bag & running through the bush straight to the main road .. f**k I missed it .
Walking for almost 3hours , a white G-Wagon came ...
"Hy young lady where are you going" asked the lady ,ohh yeah there's a man & a women maybe they are a couple.
"I'm going to the nearest town ma"am"
"We are also going there ,hop on lady" only if they knew that I'm a she-wolf
"What's your name & what are you doing here all alone? Don't you know that this is the most dangerous place?" This lady arrg
"& to add on that, werewolves we spotted on this mountain few years ago" the man added
" I..I..I was with my friends ..we were going to the nearest town & I went to help myself in the forest ,when I came back I found my bag on the road &..I.." I had to come up with something
"Ohh child ,in life do not trust anyone even the ones you call your friends, family & everyone around you,even us . Just because we helped you ,you don't have to trust us" just like my Mom betrayed me I get it now
"Thank you Soo much for helping me" I took out $200 & gave em
They were as shocked as I was when I first saw the money Justin gave me .
"Child ,we did this from our heart you don't have to pay us . We all humans we need to help & save where we can ,we can not take your money you will need it I don't know when or how but keep it" I wish I was a human too this people have Soo much love to give & they are kind as well
"Thank you ma"am" as I put it in the bag ...
Summer's POV
Work ..work..work. all I do is work & also I do work & online studying because why? I'm still a kid I want to graduate,have a proper Job,a house ,cars & maybe a husband . Speaking of husband ,will I ever see Justin again? .
Working at the famous coffee shop is not easy because you have to deal with different people,some have their problems you just need to smile at them even if they say mean jokes at you or even if they do something wrong,you 'the waitress' nne to take the blame.They say 'the customer is always right' I don't agree with that but I have to adapt or I will loose my job .
Serving my last customer & after it's lunch time ,my favourite part of the day .
**During lunch**
"Guys can you please eat fast because we have many customers today ,those 3 waitress won't be able to attend all of them please " the manager said
"I wish I called in sick today .. I'm not used to be in a room with many people it gives me anxiety " said Isabella Billie Eilish's fan,now I understand why she listens to her
"Let's go before your ugly manager comes back his face scares me Fr" said one of the waitress
We laughed while packing our lunch box & going back to work ,well bills do need to get paid
Joy's POV
After like eternity,we finally arrived at our destination. I'm happy that I won't spend another day on the mountain or in the dangeon.
The town is beautiful ,tall buildings,Soo many shops how would one decided where to buy,? Sometimes you won't understand humans
"Child we do you want us to drop you?do you even have a place to sleep?" Now I have to lie again to the people who saved me damn..I hate this life
"Can you please drop me at any shop I need something that will refresh my mind" I hope the don't throw me in the lion's den
"Ohh oukay .. there's a famous coffee shop down the street will it be oukay?"asked the man
"Yes ,thank you sir"
"Let's hope you will find a place to sleep , goodbye child"we Said our goodbyes & they left
they dropped me off at the 'famous coffee shop ' well yes it is famous & have lot of customer as well . Entering the shop the smell of coffee hits my nostrils
"Hello ma'am, table for one or two" the waitress asked
"One please ..& can I have one of your famous coffee & 3 muffins please chocolate" I ordered
"Oukay ma"am coming right up" then she left me
I didn't want to order many things because I didn't want to spend lot of money on my first day .
"Here is your coffee ma'am , please do enjoy & call anyone of us if you need anything" why are humans this kind?
"Oukay I will thank you" then she left
They have so many customers yet all of them still get the best service, I'm impressed
I didn't even realise that I've been here for more than expected of me ..& I see there's only a few of us 'customers' in the shop
Summer's POV
Well.. today is hectic & yeah some come & gon, some came here to stay & there's this one lady she came with a bag & she's been sitting on the same spot looking outside ,no movement just sitting , weird .
Finally it's time for me to go home .Me , Isabella & other 2 ladies we knock off early because we are not 18 yet.
"Summer that girl has been there since she came here,she only ordered one coffee & muffins I think we should go & talk to her ..or maybe ask her if she needs anything ..what do you think?" Isabella don't know how to mind her business jeez!
"Stay in your lane Bella " I said rolling my eyes
"But what if she needs help? What if her parents chased her? Look at the bag & shoes it's like she's been running her entire life" she has a point though but I don't like disturbing people
"Oukay fine ..but under one condition"
"Talk summer I don't have all night" she said folding her arms
"You must stop listening to Billie Eilish when you are with me. ...deal?" It's not like I hate her songs though
"Oukay cool .now come" she said dragging me to where the girl is ..
"Hey ma'am do you need anything?" Asked Bella
"No I'm fine thank you " she said looking down ...wait where have I heard this voice? In my dreams?
"But ma"am you've been sitting here for long now & we are closing soon" Bella & people's business same WhatsApp group
"I SAID I AM FINE WHICH PART OF 'I AM FINE' DON'T YOU UNDE...." She started yelling while standing up .damn it's about to go down,now all eyes are on us ..wait is this...?
"Summer Hemlock?"
"Joy Dave?"
