You wake up to the sound of people chattering, the commotion instantly waking you up from your slumber. Fatigue all over your face, you make your way to the cafeteria to brew some coffee.
You take a sip, the caffeine instantly making your drowsiness feel slightly better. You hear someone approaching you as you proceed to take another sip.
Kunigami approached you, giving you a friendly smile
"Hey, how's work today?" He said.
"I just woke up, feeling drowsy as hell" A yawn escapes your mouth as you speak, "Oh yeah, Ego said he has an announcement for you all today."
Kunigami raised an eyebrow. "Did he say what the announcement is about?"
You sigh as you take another sip of your coffee, "You guys have a big match tomorrow, It's team W. It won't be easy."
"Team W huh....I see...." He mumbles as he gazes onto your lethargic state, finding it rather cute.
"I hope I can score a goal or two.." He says.
"Just a goal or two?" you question.
Kunigami lets out a small chuckle
"What? You expect me to get more?"
"Heck yes. you're one of the best players we got." you said, savouring your hot black coffee.
Kunigami gives a cocky smirk. "I see you're very confident in me, huh?"
You take another sip, trying to hide your awkardness, "I mean.. im confident in everyone else too."
"Oh yeah?", he leans against the wall "Who do you think is the best in team Z then?"
"eh? what.. what do you mean.."
Kunigami lets out a laugh, enjoying teasing you
"You said you're confident in all the team right? So I'm asking who you think is the best player in team Z?"
She pauses, trying to figure out an answer. Too shy to say his name, "Err, maybe... Bachira?"
"Bachira huh?", he leaned closer to you "Are you sure?"
"Eh...." Her cheeks redden as he leans closer. "Any... uh, anyway. Go get your breakfast.. I have work to do." She mumbles. Kunigami chuckled and backed away from her, letting the tease go
"Alright, I'll see you around later then. And thanks for the heads up about the announcement"
Waving him goodbye, you go back to your room, preparing some information for Team Z's upcoming match, analyzing the players and their way of playing.
