Kashmir, a place that Diksha loved more than anything else.
Even the thought of leaving it for ever, haunted her. "But I was born here. It's my mother land, how can we leave?" Diksha asked her dad. He hugged her tightly and said "That's how life works, nothing lasts forever. We have to move on!" He felt Diksha's tear on his sweater.

With the sweet memories of Kashmir, Diksha entered Jalandhar City, where another journey was waiting for her.

"Bye!" Diksha's voice echoed in morning's silence. Her waved back at her as she left for her new school.

Diksha entered her new school and started walking around the corridor. Suddenly a boy ran into her. "ARE YOU LITERALLY BLIND?" Diksha said angrily. The boy stared at her and said
"Oh, I see! I am blind even though you are the one who was roaming here and there without any purpose!" "Atleast I wasn't running with my eyes closed just like you!" Diksha said. He raised his eyebrows. Diksha rolled her eyes and said "Never mind, I don't argue with fools."
Diksha said with a smirk on her face and left.

~Meeting Yashika~

The bell had already rang but because of that quarrel Diksha was a little late to class. She entered her class that was full of students doing their own stuff.
She greeted her class teacher who was a middle aged woman.
Her teacher smiled and started examining the class trying to find a seat for Diksha and soon she did. She told Diksha to go and sit at the third bench of middle row. She nodded and went there. She sat down and asked her bench mate "What's your name?" Her bench mate seemed to a little shy. She flinched and replied "Yashika".
Diksha smiled. The teacher saw it and said "Good thing, Seems like the start of new friendship.
Diksha, Yashika is also new here and it's her first day. I hope you two enjoy it."

Enjoy? That brat have already spoilt my mood and how am I supposed to be happy when I am here, at this boring place, far away from Kashmir!

Diksha said in her mind.

She calmed herself somehow and kept her bag down. She pull out a notebook and started writing notes. Suddenly something happened that she didn't expect to be.
