Chapter 14: The Party of the Fourteen

I opened my eyes as I gained contiousness from a full night of sleep, which was unusual nowadays. A lot seemed to remind me of the time in that basement. Especially being awake in a dark room. Now it wasn't though. The curtains were pulled away from the widow, making the sun shine through and thereby lighting up the room. I looked around me to find no one else there. They must have woken up already. 

I got up from bed, strechting my back and walking over to the closet. I picked out an outfit for the day. A simple white tank top with a brown skirt and my leather jacket. To go I had a pair of new boots that I bought in Hogsmeade, since the ones I had before were stolen while I was gone. These were black instead of brown, and I did think these were much more comfortable than the brown ones. 

I quickly brushed my hair, not caring to style it, and grabbed my bookbag before heading out. Today it was Sunday and I was going to work on the different extra material I had resieved a few months ago to catch up on what I had missed. It was quite a lot, and with the homework we had apart from the extra material I hadn't been able to finish the other stuff. 

Once I got down into the library I immediately got started. My motivation level was on top today and I was able to get a lot done. I even had some fun doing it. Writing, researching, looking for the right book, I loved it. 

My eyes were starting to drop after a couple of hours of constant working, but I was too close to finishing to stop. Suddenly I woke up from my head dropping to the table, hitting my head in the process. I goraned in pain and automatically set my fingers against my forehead as I sat back up again. 'Okay, pehaps it is time for a break after all.' I thought to myself and looked up at the grandpa clock to me left. 

"Fuck." I whispered to myself. It was almost dinner and I hadn't eaten anything all day. When I thought of it, I could feel my stomach churning out of emptiness. I decided that it had to be it all for today and started packing up. I was about done when Pandora rushed into the common room and over to me. She looked frantic. 

"Panda, what is it?" I asked, concern stricken across my features. 

"It's Barty and Potter, they're fighting outside our common room." She said quickly. She hastily grabbed my stuff that was left on the table and hurried out of there with me close behind her. 

"Wait, Dora, wait!" I exclaimed. "What can I do?" I then added as we ran up the many stairs to the Ravenclaw Tower. 

"Help to stop it!" She shouted after me, quickening her pace. Pandora didn't stop until we had arrived outside the entrance of the Ravenclaw Tower. I stopped, boubling over to catch my breath. 

"There's no one here." I told her, earning a shrug from the blond girl. "There's no one here! You made me- run up all those- for nothin'?" I then added, irritation growing inside of me. She looked at me apologetically. 

"Sorry, come on, lets go into the common room and cool down a bit." Pandora then said, motioning to the common room. "Perhaps get a change of clothes." I nodded at that and went into the common room with Pandora right behind me. 

I went right through and then right up into the dorm. Although I did see Pandora do some weird handgesture when I was going up the stairs. It was towards something or someone in the common room, but I didn't think anything special of it. You never knew with Pandora, after all. 

I decided to take a shower, to get both the old and new sweat off before I started to smell. Pandora thought it was a great idea and then she quickly ushered me into the bathroom. 'Why was she acting so weird?' I thought as I turned the water on. 

A few minutes later I was fully showered and even styled my hair. I was ready to head out to my wardrobe for some new and fresh clothes. That's when I saw it, the dress on my bed. It was black with a flowy shirt that ended at different levels. Together with it was a note, containing Pandora's handwriting.
