Today was the day England where going against Germany, I had stopped by Elena's to drop off a New Jersey since hers is a year and a bit old.

"Jude! Come in" Michael said with a smile, stepping to the side to let me in. "Hi Mike, I'm just here to drop this off for Elena." Michael nodded, "she's upstairs" i thanked Mike and went upstairs, missing a step and going up two at a time. I knocked gently on her door and Heared a faint "come in" I opened the door and she was sat at her vanity brushing through her lashes. She smiled at me through the mirror, "Hi what are you doing here!" She said still with a smile and hugged me tight. "I have a present for you" I handed her the box, she squinted her eyes and looked at me, cautiously taking the box from my hand. I laughed, "just open it stop being a weirdo" she started laughing and untied the pink ribbon that was keeping it closed.

Her face lit up when she seen what was in it she looked at me and flung her hands around my neck. "Thank you, thank you thank you" she squeeled. She kissed me on the cheek and went back to the box, unfolding the jersey and admiring it. I couldn't get over the feeling of the butterflies in my stomach when she kissed me. Yes it was only on the cheek and yes she does it all the time but I can't help but get flustered every time she does it.

"Go put it on then" she hurried to the bathroom and came out with the new and improved jersey. "I love it thank you so much Jude" she hugged me again but this time by my waist. My arms draped over her shoulders as my chin rested on her head. I kissed her head and I could feel her smile against my chest. "No problem, I have to go I'll see you in a bit yeah? Jobe wants you to sit with him and my parents by the way." I nodded and pulled away from the hug. "Goodluck you'll do great" "I will with you there, your my lucky charm" her smile got even bigger when I said that as she we walked down the stairs. "Oh, wait here a sec" I jogged over to the car quickly and opened the passenger door, opening the glove compartment and pulling out a lanyard. I rushed back over to her - her brows were furrowed and she had a very confused look on her face.

I handed her the vip pass. "I forgot to give you this, it's so you can go on the pitch and in the tunnel after the game and at half time and stuff" "thank you so much Jude" I nodded and hugged her one more time before I left.

It was 3 minutes till half time and we were losing 2-1. I was determined to make a goal by half time but I didn't know if that was going to happen.

I raced up the middle and Saka passed to me, I was in perfect shot of the goal. I looked down and back up to the goal and launched it into the back of the net. The stadium erupted into cheers and I ran over to the corner of the field. My team ran over to me and jumped on my back. I looked up to the box where Elena and my family where, I made an 'E' with my fingers right at the camera and looked back up to the box and blew her a kiss, in which she returned. The crowd noticed this and cheered even louder.

The whistle blew for half time and we all walked off the pitch, in the changing room I got interrogated by the team about my celebration. "Listen it was just an in the moment thing we're not dating" I said as I messaged Elena to come down to see me.

"Mate your actually so in love it's scaring me" Phil joked I just rolled my eyes and got up to leave, "where you going" I didn't even have to turn around to tell who it was I could tell by the thick scouse accent. "Uhh toilet" I knew if I told them Elena was standing outside they would tease both of us. Trent walked in front of the door. "We have toilets right over there" he pointed over to the door with a sign that read 'TOILETS' on the front. "Uhm I prefer the main ones" Trent smirked at me as he opened the door, revealing Elena leaned against the wall on her phone.
