The two sides of Lloyd garmadon (sadly discontinued)

The weapon (prologue)

"Ugh! Where is this guy?!" Arin shouted out of frustration.

The ninja were trying to track down a person who had stolen a priceless artifact from borg tower's security vaults. It was called the blade of essence and possessed untold of power. Nobody had dared to use it as everyone feared it.

The legends said that it had the power to completely destroy one person's personality, but nobody had been struck with it before.

It was forged in the golden peaks with the persona metal, an extremely rare metal that would do damage to someone's mindset depending on what the wielder forged with it.

There was little to no information about the man who stole it others than their gender and the fact that they were a highly skilled swordsman.

"We've been tracking this guy for weeks, he couldn't have just disappeared!" Sora complained.

"I know that, Zane, can you run an algorithm based on the information we have," Lloyd asked his nindroid friend.

"Already on it Lloyd!" He replied

Zane suddenly stood perfectly still and rigid with his eyes flashing and flickering as he ran the calculations.

"Ugh, he really has to stop doing this," Kai moaned from across the table.

"We really need to get this blade back, who knows what damage someone would do with it." Cole insisted

"Well it's my turn to patrol the city tonight, I'll keep a look out for any sort of trouble,"

"Hey do you want any help da-, I mean, Lloyd" arin said, his face turning red from embarrassment.

Lloyd snickered a little before responding
"I'm ok, son,"

This caused Arin to turn even redder. As Lloyd passed him on the way out of the room, he ruffled Arins curly hair.

Sora looked at Arin with an obvious smirk on her face that she was failing to hide.

"What," Arin asked, clearly annoyed

"Nothing!" She responded, but her giggling made it obvious she was lying.

"Yea ok! I see him like a dad ok!!!" He now had an embarrassing smile on his face. The two of them burst out laughing.

"Don't worry buddy, I kinda do to," sora said.

Later, out on patrol

Lloyd was sneaking through alley ways and jumping over roof tops. It didn't take long before he spotted a shady figure with a gold shimmer peeking out of a bag he was carrying. Lloyd leaped down and startled the man. He was wearing a black uniform with a matching mask.

The man jumped back and pulled out what ever he had in his bag out in fear. It was the blade of essence.

The man struck Lloyd with the blade in the side, giving the green ninja no time to react. When the blade didn't do anything but injure him and draw blood from lloyd, the man dropped the blade in fear, took another, regular sword out of his bag and slit his own throat, committing suicide.

Lloyd thought that it must have been a goon working for some higher power that was sent on a suiside mission, but when he pulled up the mask, it matched the little description that they got of the criminal.

Lloyd thought this was peculiar and was slightly disturbed and upset at the sight of the man's dead body, but he felt weak and dizzy more than anything.

But When he turned to go get help, he passed out, hitting the ground, unconscious and limp...
