Chapter 91 Drawing
Shen Qingqian was originally concentrating on drawing, but was suddenly interrupted by him. She was so shocked that she dropped the burnt branch in her hand.
"Brother Cheng San, scaring others can kill them. Could you please make some noise when you walk next time?" Shen Qingqian rolled her eyes at him, picked up the branch and continued painting.
Sheng Ze felt a little uncomfortable, but he quickly squatted down and looked at the picture on the slate carefully. When he saw what she was drawing, he blurted out in surprise, "Are you drawing a boat?"
Shen Qingqian said without even looking up: "No, I'm drawing a raft, a raft that can run faster in the water."
"How do you know all this?" Sheng Ze couldn't help asking.
Shen Qingqian said casually: "I'm just imagining."
Shengze: "So you drew the picture so seriously, but it turned out that you just drew it casually?"
He suddenly felt a little disappointed, but he did not move his eyes away from the stone slab.
The more Shengze looked at it, the more he felt something was wrong. This girl wasn't just drawing randomly, she even marked the length and width of each part!
Sheng Ze couldn't help but turn his head to look at Shen Qingqian's face. She was painting very seriously, counting on her fingers and muttering something to herself while painting.
Now Shengze can be sure that she is definitely not drawing casually, the raft in this picture can definitely be made.
A quarter of an hour later, Shen Qingqian let out a long breath, hugged the slate and smiled with satisfaction, "Finally the painting is done."
The history of human navigation is long and cruel. Initially, people got inspiration from ants on leaves. Later, some people drifted in the water holding wood, and then there were simple rafts, simple small boats, and even modern aircraft carriers.
All they needed now was a raft that could provide some safety. Compared to those complicated ships, the idea in Shen Qingqian's mind could still be made using the materials available.
"Let me see." Sheng Ze couldn't wait to take the slate from her hand and looked at it very seriously.
Shen Qingqian didn't stop her, after all, it still depended on them to do it.
"Why is the length different here?" Sheng Ze asked, pointing to one place.
Shen Qingqian took a look and explained: "Because the direction of water resistance will change, different lengths will have different forces."
She tried her best to express herself in a language he could understand, and spoke very carefully.
Sheng Ze kept hearing unfamiliar words from her mouth, but he didn't have time to think about it at the moment.
Shen Qingqian finally finished speaking and quickly picked up the water bag and took a sip of water.
"If we add this in the front, it will speed up the raft in the water?" Sheng Ze asked, pointing at the fan blades in front of the raft.
Shen Qingqian nodded, "Okay, but someone needs to keep pulling the rope to control the direction. But I don't know how to tell you this, because this is just my own random thought."
She really didn't know how to explain the design principle of this bidirectional spiral fan to an ancient person.
In fact, she just added a simple power system to the front of the existing raft, trying to reduce the number of parts as much as possible.
