I've decided to document everything. The stories, the rumors, the truth. My name is Ethan, and along with my friends Sarah and Lucas, we are about to uncover the mystery of the old Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Willow Creek is a sleepy town, the kind where nothing much happens. But every town has its secrets, and ours is that abandoned pizzeria on the edge of town. No one goes near it anymore. They say it's haunted, that the animatronics inside come to life at night. As kids, we heard whispers of the night guard who disappeared without a trace, of children who went missing, of the eerie music that sometimes played late at night.
Today, we gathered our courage and decided to investigate. It was Sarah’s idea, really. She's always been the brave one. Lucas and I, well, we couldn’t let her go alone. Armed with flashlights and a sense of adventure, we made our way to the pizzeria just as the sun began to set.
The building was more decrepit than I remembered. Vines crawled up the sides, and broken windows stared down at us like empty eye sockets. We slipped through a gap in the boarded-up entrance, and immediately, the musty air hit us. Dust particles danced in the beams of our flashlights, and the faint smell of mold lingered in the air.
Inside, it was as if time had stopped. Tables and chairs were scattered about, some overturned. The main stage, once the center of joy and entertainment, now held the decaying forms of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Their eyes seemed to follow us, though I told myself it was just my imagination.
Sarah suggested we head to the security office. That was where the night guard would have kept his logbook, and maybe, just maybe, we’d find some answers there. Lucas found the logbook, buried under a pile of old papers and dust. The pages were yellowed and brittle, filled with frantic, handwritten notes.
I could barely make out the words, but the desperation in the writing was clear. "They move...only at night...must survive..." it read. My heart raced as I continued to read the entries, each one more unsettling than the last.
As we delved deeper into the pizzeria, I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were being watched. Sarah, ever the skeptic, brushed it off as paranoia, but Lucas was more cautious. He kept glancing over his shoulder, his flashlight beam trembling slightly.
We found more clues—scratched walls, old security tapes, and torn posters. Each discovery painted a picture of a place where something had gone terribly wrong. The deeper we went, the more the air seemed to thrum with a sinister energy.
Tonight, we plan to stay until midnight. We want to see for ourselves if the stories are true. Part of me hopes it’s all just folklore, but another part is driven by a need to uncover the truth, no matter how terrifying it might be.
Whatever happens, I'll document everything. If we disappear, maybe someone will find this journal and know we tried to uncover the truth about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Maybe then, the secrets will finally be laid to rest.
