CHAPTER 3
A HERO... BETRAYED
It had been a week since Peter Parker had been betrayed by one he once called a friend and was forcefully striped of his powers, he had spent the last 15yrs of his life being the hero Spider-Man, he had trained a protégé, he had done so much, saved so many people to make up for those he couldn't save and now, there he was, on the ground of his apartment covered in broken debris of his own wall and left to die. But the worst of this was that this was done to him by his own former mentor and friend, Iron-Man, he had left him beaten, bloodied and powerless, and he knew that Tony was going to get away with it, he always got away with all the horrible things he had done, after all, he was Iron-Man.
Peter had laid there the entire time, his body in such pain that he was simply incapable of movement, he was dazed, his vision was severely impaired, his mouth tasted of blood, that was the only thing he could do with it and after so long with, his body had no strength to move, so all he could do was lay there in his tattered costume. He thought if maybe, maybe this was the end for him, it was funny, because he believed he would always go out in a fight, or maybe surrounded by loved ones.
But that wasn't what he was getting, Parker luck rearing its ugly head for a final time huh? Well, then maybe it was finally time for him to just close his eyes, and never open them for good, and as his eyes were near shut,
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
Rings through his home, someone was at the door, he opened his eyes wide, someone was here! Someone had come for him, of course he could close his eyes, he had friends, he had people who cared about him, he had people who needed him outside in his city. Mustering whatever strength, he could, he tried to scream, but nothing came out, then the door was kicked down by someone with Super Strength
"PETER!" the voice of Julia Carpenter
The second Madame Web rushed to her champion, he was bloodied, beaten, his body was broken in some parts, his spine was damaged and he just laid there on the floor of his apartment, left to die. Julia rested his head on her knee, palming his face in her hand, she smiled at him when she saw he was alive, but then her skin went cold all of a sudden.
"Peter..." the sorrow and realization in her face and voice was adamant "Your connection to the web" reading his mind, she was able to find his last sets of memories, seeing what had happened to him and all she could say was "That bastard!"
Picking up her champion and dear friend, she teleported the two of them to the nearest hospital
NEAREST HOSPITAL
The Medical Staff was having their average day, doing what they normally did, some were treating patients, attending to wounded and helping others, such was the nature of their occupation, but then a woman wearing a red trench coat, and red tinted glasses came into the building yelling out
"HELP! MY FRIEND NEEDS HELP!" Julia screamed for anyone who would hear her
And the nurses came rushing for them, taking the heavily bruised Peter out of her hands
"What happened?"
"I don't know, I found him in his apartment like this"
They take him away on a table and rush him to ER immediately, Julia was distraught, why didn't she see this, what had happened and how could Tony do this, and why?
She wanted to just rush into that bastards Tony Tower, a giant monument to his Ego and Psychically dissect his brain from the inside, but she couldn't leave Peter like this, this was wrong, this was absolutely wrong on so many levels, she had to tell someone, she had to tell all of his friends what she had just found out. But first she needed to make sure that he was stable first, she didn't want to leave him alone, with what had happened to him, he was in a terrible condition, and conceded to using her power to see what the nurses would tell her.
