Her gooey power

One

Kelly Stevens walked out of her bedroom and then tried to sneak her way to the front door so she could go to the bus stop but then felt shocked as she felt a hand on her arm. She then turned around and saw her mother with a huge smile on her face as she pulled Kelly away from the door. Kelly groaned quietly as she knew that she couldn't do anything while her mother ran around dressing her up and taking lots of pictures of her. She wanted to leave the house as soon as possible but she also knew that her mother was going to go great if she didn't get everything out of her system. Kelly balled up her fists while not noticing two hands made of goo appearing behind her making her mother stop with her face going pale. Kelly opened her hands making the goo disappear as she turned around to see what was going on behind her before she turned around to her mother again.

"I'm off to my new school. Have a good day, mommy." Kelly said as she opened the door before her mother could say anything but she knew what her mother was going to say since her mother was paranoid about everyone and everything around them. If she would let her mother talk, her mother immediately would force her to stay home since she didn't know what the goo was that was behind Kelly. Kelly closed her eyes and then she took a deep breath as she walked to the bus stop and smiled as she saw what could be her future classmates talking at the stop. There was another reason she enjoyed her mother not going with her since she didn't want to be labeled as the new kid with the weird mother and ruin her whole years at the school. A girl in the group immediately saw Kelly coming and started whispering to the girl next to her and then they all cuddled together as if she had the plague. Kelly stopped walking losing her smile as she had no idea what was going on but then she held onto her backpack and then got closer to the group and opened her mouth so that she could introduce herself to the group.

"Stay away from us, new girl. Your not cool enough to be our friend." One of the girls said in a snobby tone before all of the girls started to laugh causing tears to well up in Kelly's eyes before she wiped her eyes. Kelly could not let the girls get to her on the first day and she knew that she had to be strong so that she could show her mother that she could take care of herself. As the bus got closer, Kelly lifted her head and then walked through the group making the girls make yelping sounds while moving to the side while Kelly's face stayed like stone. She then walked onto the bus as the girl silently looked and watched her as they felt shocked by her boldness.

"Uh, girls. Are you going to get on? Or are you all gonna keep standing there looking like idiots?" The bus driver asked while he was secretly eyeing the girls while getting by hard by all of their outfits. The girls grabbed their bags feeling embarrassed by what had happened and then they all went to their usual spot before the driver closed the doors. He then smiled as he drove away while trying to figure out what he could do to get one of the girls alone with him. Kelly put her earbuds in and then she slowly closed her eyes as a tear escaped her eye while she listened to her father's favorite songs. She couldn't wait till he visited her like he had promised the summer before and she knew that she would have to do anything she could to bring him back.

"Hey, look. The freak is crying." One of the girls said making the group laugh before Kelly opened her eyes and looked at the group running her finger over her mouth making the black goo go across the girl's mouth sealing it shut. The rest of the group watched in shock as the girl tried to scream loudly but couldn't before the driver pulled into the school not knowing what had happened right behind him. The girls didn't know what to do nor did they know what to say to explain what had happened and then immediately jumped as Kelly cleared her throat next to them.

"Look, the freak is standing up for herself." Jelly said watching as the groups faces became pale as they figured out what she had heard them say and giggled at. Kelly got off the bus and then she headed towards the school as three of the girls got off the bus since the girl with no mouth didn't want to get off and then the bus driver shut the door. Kelly looked up and walked inside with a smile on her face as the girl's mouth reappeared on her face but with stitches and thread on her mouth. Kelly knew that the bus driver was going to do something to the girl so if the girl had ended up dead then the bus driver would be in trouble. Kelly then looked around and watched as a man in a business suit slowly walked towards her since he didn't want to scare her.
