EKAANSH

"The election lines are closed" the vice principal announce through the megaphone right at one in the afternoon while the elections were started at ten in the morning, most of the people gathered in the big garden infront of the university as the election result will be announced within a hour or two

The election booth is electrical and it would take leads than a hour to count all the votes but as given the election result will be announced right at three in the afternoon until then everyone can have their lunch

"I am two hundred percent sure you are gonna win bhaiya" said Karan getting excited jumping here and there while my eyes found hers walking towards us with my sisters

The moment I put the macaron I'm my mouth the only thing I did is spit it out, it was fucking salty that felt like there was nothing in that cookie except the salt and I very well knew that she did it purposely and I also know that I am not going to let her go easily this time

Then when I further looked into the pink with polka dots cover wrapped box I found a card in which it was written in her cursive beautiful letters

Dear hater, I couldnt help but notice that awesome end with 'me' and ugly starts with 'U'

Then when I turned the card further it was written to taste the other macaron but I doubted yet took a small piece of it and yup those were good but not up to the mark like professionals but it was ok

I send her a icy glare when they reached us while she ignored it royally, trust me no one when I say no one not even my parents ignored or did this with me like she does, and I want to kill her for it ignoring how pretty she looked in her yellow kurthi with jeans

Let the election come to an end I will make sure that she would regret what she did with me

"What are you guys doing here" asked aakash

"Why shouldn't we be here?" Asked aarthi with pout, she is the innocent and shy one in the family while aarushi is outgoing and a bit bold

"Ekaansh" the shrieking voice of someone pulled us apart from the conversation that was going and we turned to look at the devil disguised human standing infront of us

"What now Namratha"

"I just wanted to congratulate you" she said side hugging me with a pout

"I have not yet won" I stated the matter of fact and she shrugged saying how I win every year while I shook my head at her antics

We were right now standing in the same place where we were before, we came after having lunch and in very few minutes the results were announced and yes I won and everyone were congratulating me

"It's the fifth time you are going to become the president of the college Ekaansh" told abhimanyu while patting my back with big grin on his face

Yup it's the fifth time, since I have joined the college it's me who is being the leader, president. I love leadership, I love dominating.

"Party toh bantha hai" said aarushi with a smile and have me a hug

(It's time for party)

"I'll come after meeting bua" I told them while they nodded, I left from there ignoring that doe shaped black eyes girl who is taking away my peace from past two weeks

"Congratulations Ekaansh, I am proud of you my boy" told bua engulfing me in a hug

"Thank you" I said in my usual -cold- tone while she huffed breaking from the hug and fed me my favourite macaron.

"Party in house?" She asked and I shook my head

"I don't think this is new bua and I don't care about it so no party" I told her and she huffed slapping my back lightly before I left from there

"Bhaiya party" my cousin's shouted as soon as I walked out of the office room, I gave them a look which made them shut their mouth up

"Get back to home guys" I told with my stern voice and they all gave me a pout before huffing and walking out as there was no change in my expression

Being the eldest in the house I have been portraying to be strict with them not that I should be or something but it has been my attitude towards them since I grew up with the responsibilities and the saying 'Being elder you have to be perfect' and that's the title I have been carrying 'Being perfect'

Though I am not perfect in everything but I do what I do with utmost patience and concentration till I get successful in it, being perfect is not at all easy it is all about being first in everything which I am tired of

As we entered the room the balloon burst out and everyone together who were gathered 'my family' yelled in together a congratulation while I just stayed blank, like always

"Congratulations" my mother Tara came towards me with my favourite macaron and fed me while I gulped the delicacy with its wonderful taste melting in my mouth

My mother has always been the best in baking, she loves it and has her own bakery coming to us she treats all of us same but I am her favourite secretly which everyone knows

I love my mother moon to back she comes first to me before anyone does, she always holds that special place in my heart

Next came my dad like this everyone fed me my favourite, congratulating after which I retired to my room taking all the elders blessings and giving side hugs to younger ones
