These are some vocabulary that I'll be using in my book so if you ever get confused you can always come back here to k ow what a certain word means <3

Prayers
Compulsory Prayers:

1. Morning Prayer: Fajr
The first of the five daily prayers, performed at dawn before sunrise.

2. Midday Prayer: Zuhr
The second daily prayer, performed after the sun passes its zenith and starts to decline.

3. before Sunset Prayer: Asr
The third daily prayer, performed in the afternoon before sunset.

4. After Sunset Prayer: Maghrib
The fourth daily prayer, performed just after sunset.

5. After Twilight Prayer: Isha
The fifth and last daily prayer, performed after the twilight has disappeared and it is fully dark.

Optional Prayers:

Tahajjud Prayer:
A voluntary prayer performed in the middle of the night, ideally after having slept for a short period. It is considered a highly recommended act of worship.

Nafil Prayer
Optional prayers that can be performed at any time of the day, apart from the obligatory prayer times. They are considered supererogatory and can bring additional spiritual rewards.

Istikhaara Prayer
A specific prayer performed anytime of the day when seeking guidance from Allah in making a decision. It involves a special supplication asking for what is best.

Relationships

Father: Baba/Abbi
Terms used to refer to one's father. "Baba" is more commonly used in South Asian cultures, while "Abbi" is an affectionate term used in some Arabic-speaking families.

Mother: Ummi/mama
An affectionate term used to refer to one's mother in many Arabic-speaking families and some other cultures.

Brother: Akhi
An affectionate term for "brother" in Arabic.

Sister: ukhti
An affectionate term for "sister" in Arabic.

Salutations

As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu "May Peace and Blessings Be Upon You." A traditional Islamic greeting.

Wa Alaikum Mus Salaam Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu "May Peace and Blessings Be Upon You Too." The traditional response to the greeting "As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu."

Allah Hafiz "May Allah (S.W.T) be with you." A form of goodbye.

Hadith

Sunnah

Wudu: The ritual ablution performed before prayers.

Dua: A personal supplication or prayer.

Jannah: Paradise or heaven in Islamic belief

Mahr: The mandatory gift, often monetary, given by the groom to the bride at the time of marriage.

Clothing

Hijab:
A woman's headscarf that covers the head completely.

Abaya:
Long, loose garment that is usually worn by women
