BACKSTORY / PLOT :
Michelle Robert, a rebellious teenager from a far away city unexpectedly lands into Brookvil, a small town in California, where her biological parents reside. Being with her runaway aunt, away from her actual parents for almost a decade grew her bitterness into uncertain emotional rashes.

Binding herself with this fateful yet unfortunate experience, Michelle stumbles across the gates of her new high school, The Crossford Medium. An ordinary school at a first glance, an asylum when surveyed.

Michelle finds her way to the restricted floor, into the abandoned chemistry lab of the school and meets a distinguishing gentleman- one of the most brilliant professors of applied chemistry at Crossford, William Parker.

A series of disappearances of specific targeted students fall upon her route, all fingers aligned to the similar private chemistry sessions taken by the very own Professor William- or maybe someone else? What happens when Michelle herself is forced to attend these private chemistry sessions under the name of getting better grades? Will she correlate two lines of the same paragraph or maybe it's her time to visit the void once again?

- it took me about three to four hours to complete this design. i completely changed my plans when i actually started working on this and i really enjoyed making it (let's forget the part where i stopped midway and started panicking.. and also when i completed everything but the title was wrongly spelled 😭).

- i have used a table typa scene here because in the plot we talk about the main character being forced to attend a private session. so it kinda gives us a feeling about what she sees on the table when she goes to her session.

- you can see some chemistry stuff like a test tube, a flask and a culture plate (biology is that you?) from the top view in the book spine. i have also added elements like magnifying lens for mystery genre and blood splatters for thriller genre.

- i'm kinda proud of myself for coming up with a different type of title which i think is pretty creative on my end, hehe. the idea actually came from my experience while studying chemistry.. it's always a mystery.
