I just got home and I'm exhausted! I have a lot of assignments to submit. I bet I'll die before graduating😭
Taehyung reads her messages at the comfort of her home, she turns on the tv and sits on the couch, she raises her legs on the side and massages it. Wearing black shoes the whole day makes her legs swollen a little
"Mom? I'm home"
Her daughter comes in the living room and drops her bag on the couch beside her feet
"Ow.. what's the rush?"
Taehyung pull back her feet
"I'm sorry.. I'm so thirsty i need water"
The young lady rushes to the kitchen and get her tumbler
"You forgot to bring it with you? Again?"
Taehyung leans on the arms rest and drops her phone on the table
"Yeah, I forgot.."
She drinks it like a man and wipes her lips after
"How's school?"
Her daughter sits beside her and gets his bag. She brings out some paper to sign. She smiles sheepishly
"When did you finish all of these?"
Taehyung runs a finger on it reading some of them and signs at the bottom. It's all her assignments needed to pass before the week ends
"Mom, it's not late.. just right on time"
She proudly said
"It should be"
She hands it back to her and put it back in her bag
"School is great. By the way, we will be having career orientation next week. It will be two or three days. Our adviser said we need to attend it with parents"
"You should reminds me about it before I filled out my schedule then"
"But Mom, it's fine if I go alone, I'll be with my friends"
"Now you don't want me to come with you?"
"It's not like that but my friends didn't have their parents too and it will be awkward if you're there"
Taehyung looks at her in the eye and pulls her in the arm on her lap
"so? Make it clear to me.. are you shy to have me with you?"
"it's nothing like that Mom, oh my god.. I just thought, if you're busy. It's okay if you can't be with me..I'm big enough to handle it on my own"
"yeah right but make sure to update me, okay?"
Her daughter simply nods while holding her phone. She's chatting right away informing her friends about it
"did you hear me?"
"ah.. yeah"
She said without even looking at her
"Grace Ann! I'm talking to you!"
Taehyung says and the young lady knows her Mom is being serious now
"yes mommy.. I'll message you, I'll update you"
She smiles looking up at her while making her eyes wide for her
"fine.. get up now and look what to have for dinner.. I'm hungry "
She stand and gets her bag going to her room but her daughter didn't even move. She's focus on her phone
"Grace.. i said I'm hungry"
"yes Mom.."
She answers lazily
"you're not hungry, aren't you?"
She stops on the steps looking back at her. The girl look back at her with the same smile
"I already had dinner, but I can cook for you, what do you want?" she said quietly. Taehyung sighs. She will eat again alone
"just make me some noodles"
