The sun had just dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city skyline. Behind an old brick building, away from the bustling streets, Choi Han and Cale found a quiet spot where the city's noises softened to a distant hum.
Tonight felt different.
Choi Hans' heart raced as he stole glances at Cale, who seemed lost in thought, staring at the skyline as if searching for answers. Finally gathering courage, He took a deep breath and spoke softly, breaking the silence between them.
"Cale-nim…there's something I've been meaning to tell you," Choi Han began, his voice barely above a whisper, tinged with a mix of nervousness.
Cale turned to him, his eyes catching the last hues of daylight. "What is it, Choi Han?" His voice was like a melody every time he spoke.
Cale was beautiful, Choi Han knew this. You could say it was love at first sight for him. He's been longing for the red haired man for such a long time.
"It's... it's about how I feel," The black haired man stammered, his fingers fidgeting with a loose thread on his shirts sleeve. "I've been trying to find the right words, but every time I'm around you, time just stops and I can't find the words to speak clearly.”
Cales expression softened, a hint of understanding in his eyes. "Choi han, you don't have to say anything if you're not ready," he said gently, reaching out to touch his hand.
“Cale-nim…I want to say this so please let me.” Choi han took the man's hand and started to speak. By the time he was finished Cales face was burning up.
Cale didn't expect this from Choi Han. They've been together for the longest time and he just assumed their relationship was platonic. He only wanted to stop Choi Han from beating him up but he managed to make Choi Han fall in love with him.
Cales brain was going through so many different thoughts and scenarios.
“You don't have to say anything..I just wanted to get this off my chest. Thank you for listening” without thinking Cale grabbed Choi Hans face, leaned in and kissed him.
Choi Hans' eyes widened. His precious Cale-nim was kissing him?! Without another thought he kissed back and they stayed kissing for a few minutes.
Cale pulled back smiling.
“I hope that answered your confession.”
Choi Han smiled back
“It did.”
He pulled Cale into a big hug.
“You're the best thing that's ever happened to me.”
“You're cringe.”
They both couldn't express their happiness enough.
