Part 1 : Her Dua

Murtasim Khan who just graduated from his university a week ago is now packing his luggage to go to Hyderabad , Pakistan..
( he didn't tell anyone about his arrival ) to his maa begum , baba saab , his sister and to the love of his life..yes he loved a girl but she didn't knew about his feelings..
He still remembers the day when he first held her in his arms

FLASHBACK - 30 Jan 2000

He still remembers how his chachi fainted all of a sudden and how everyone was tensed and was rushing to the hospital he was 3 at that time so he couldn't understand a thing..

Maa begum : Murtasim beta jaldi aao yahan
Murtasim  : ji mama kya huwa hei
Maa begum : beta chalo hospital chalte hain ham sab jaldi se
Murtasim  : kyun mama chachi ka payt dard ho laha hei kya ( child voice ) [ laha = raha ]
Maa begum : haan beta ab chalo
Murtasim : thik hai mama

He went to the hospital and couldn't understand why everyone was praying and why his anwal chachu was jogging in the hospital..
Then a doctor came out of some big room with a little creature wrapped in pink or he thought so..
Seeing that creature everyone was happy , specially his anwal chachu he just couldn't understand why so he decided to ask his mama

Murtasim : mama ye kya hei ( pointing to the baby )
Maa begum  : beta vo aapki chachi aur chachu ki baby hai
Murtasim  : unka baby toh mai hun naa
Maa begum : haan beta par voh unki beti hai aur tum toh beta ho naa
Murtasim  : haan , kya mai use apni godi mai pakrun?
Maa begum : haan beta lekin shaam me kyunki ab ham hospital mein hai na
Murtasim  : thik hei mama

Then they went home in evening as there were no problems and Nadia was also discharged and right now she was resting as she was weak and anwar was with her leaving Maa begum , baba saab , Murtasim and the baby in drawing room
Murtasim saw that the baby was in his mama's hand so he poked her hand with his finger slowly making Maa begum look at him

Murtasim  : mama ab baby ko meri godi Mei bethaao
Maa begum : haan ye lo par dhyaan se haan
Murtasim  : haan mama

With that she placed the baby in his arms still holding her for support while Murtasim just stared at her with his doe eyes..
Shahnawaz who noticed it let out a small chuckle before saying

Shahnawaz  : ye dekho Murtasim pehli baar kisiko apni godi me utha raha hai , kitna pyaara lag raha hai
Maa begum : haan bohot pyaara lag raha hai mera beta
Shahnawaz : acha Murtasim , yahan dekho taaki mai tumhaari photo le sakun

Murtasim saw towards his baba and flashed out his sweet smile as if posing for the photo

Murtasim  : baby ka naam kya hai mama
Maa begum : voh raat ko pata chalega
Murtasim  : raat ko kyun
Maa begum : apke chacha chachi baby ka naam raat ko rakhenge naa
Murtasim : ohh thike

Murtasim was restless till evening wanting to figure out the name of the new member of their home
In the evening he found out her name
It was Meetab...ohh no , no Meerab

Flashback ends ------------------------------

Hyderabad , Pakistan ( 29 Jan-Morning )

Maa begum : arey sab log niche aajayein nashta lag gaya hai , Nadia tum meerab ko dekho ki vo uthi hai ya nahi
Nadia : ye ladki hamesha der se soti hai bhabhi , pata nahi iska kya hoga
Maa begum : toh bachi pad rahi thi naa , aaj to khaor se uska last exam hai..
Nadia : ji bhabhi

After a while everyone settled on the table and started eating food

Shahnawaz  : beta aaj tumhaara akhri paper hai na
Meerab : haan chacha
( she called him chacha instead of taaya because she liked it that way and Noone even stopped her from that )
Shahnawaz  : Masha Allah se meri bachi ki padhai bhi hogayi
Meerab : ji
Shahnawaz  : toh aage kya karogi beta
Meerab : voh ek LLB program hai soch rahi thi usme join hoon
Shahnawaz  : aur ye kabse shuru hoga
Meerab : August se shayad
Shahnawaz : thik hai beta join karlo aur ham sab ko fakr karvao khudpar
Meerab  : ji inshallah

She was beyond happy now as she thought that he wouldn't agree to it but he agreed and so easily..

Time skip : Night 10.30 pm

Meerabs exam went well and everyone was happy about it..
Currently meerab was praying Isha prayer and was making a dua

Meerab ( in mind ) : ya Allah meri madad kar , plz Murtasim ko mere birthday par yahan bhej den taaki mera birthday yaadgaar ho jaaye plz meri shaadi sirf Murtasim se karwaiye ga mere rab , kuch aisa karein ki vo bhi mujhse mohabbat kare aur ghar wale meri shaadi us se karde-

Just then she heard a ring on the bell so she startled due to the sudden sound of the bell as the bell never rang in night atleast not after 10..
She went to answer the door as her parents and chacha chachi must have slept by now and the servants must have also slept

She fixed her dupatta on her head and went to the door to open it
When she opened it she was beyond shocked as she didn't believe her dua to be accepted so fast she was in her thoughts when

................. : Assalam alaikum
Meerab : walaikum assalam , m-murtasim aap yahan achanak
Murtasim : voh mera man kiya aajaun toh main aagaya
Meerab : acha aap a-andar aayein
Murtasim  : ji

He went inside making his way to the drawing room and he throwed himself on the sofa as he was tired after the long journey

Meerab : a-aap ke liye pa-ani laun??
Murtasim : haan pls

Meerab nodded and made her way to kitchen to fetch him a glass of water
In the kitchen
she stood there numb leaning against the fridge seeing Murtasim after a whole 3 years , she missed him and now he's here all of a sudden she didn't knew what to do , her mind went blank due to the happiness or excitement or whatever she felt right now

Murtasim had been sitting of the sofa for 3 minutes , after she didn't came he decided to go to the kitchen to see what happened..

He was about to enter the kitchen when he heard

.............. : ya Allah aap ne meri dua itni jaldi sun li , use itni jaldi bhej diya jise dekhne ke liye mai pichle 3 saal se taras rahi thi , jis se mai pyaar karti hun , ya Allah kaash use bhi mujhse pyaar ho aur yahi hai MERI DUA aap se mere rab..
