5. LILY

CHAPTER 5 - Lily

RHEA'S POV

This weekend was fun Geet and me enjoyed our time together after a huge break. Now she is leaving for her hostel and I am missing her already and with a final hug she drove off.

I came back to my room and started to set things for college tomorrow.
I got a notification on my phone and I went to check, it was a text from Agastya.

"Hey you free today there is a race happening tonight and they are giving 50k for the price so would you like to join?" it said.

I thought for a moment and said yes to him. My parents have no objection in me going out at any time.

"Great I will pick you up at 7 then?" he asked.

"sure" I replied.

I finished packing my bag and its just 4 pm I still have time so I decided to take a nap.

AGASTYA'S POV

I have become very comfortable with her suddenly I do not hesitate to talk to her anymore.

There was this amazing race scheduled today and I asked her if she wants to join and she said yes, I am really over the moon right now.

I decided to pack some snacks for her just in case she gets hungry as we might get late. I packed chips, chocolates, cookies, and some juice too.

She liked my Porche cayenne so I am going to take that today. I cleaned my car properly making sure no piece of garbage is around and kept the snacks at the back seat.

Damn doing all this feels nice, my car kind of looks like a family car I am loving this new feeling.

Gosh it is already 6 pm I need to get ready asap I can't make my doll wait. (I am a gentleman only for my doll).

I texted her asking for her address and started to get ready in the mean time .

RHEA'S POV

I was in my dreamland when I woke up suddenly and I realised I overslept. I looked at my phone and saw it was 6 already. Agastya had dropped me a text I opened it and he asked me for my address, quickly I typed the address and got up to get ready.

Since we are going to racecourse and I might meet someone people who know me so I decided to wear comfortable yet race friendly clothes.

My outfit which I chose was black denim jeans with black tank top and I added a leather jacket to match with a vibe.

I took my phone and wallet and went down. My dad was drinking tea he looked at me asked " beta kahi ja rahi ho?"

I smiled and replied " haan papa friends ke saath bahar ja rahi hun thoda, raat tak aa jaungi aap pareshan mat hona"

"Theek hai bachha apna dhyaan rakhna" he said

I went and told my mom the said and by that time Agastya came and dad saw his car outside.

Dad came to us and asked me "beta who tumhare liya aaya hai?"

"ji papa who Agastya hai mera college friend who mujhe pick karne aaya hai" I said

"mai bhi toh dekhu kisne itni bahaduri dikhayi ek sherni ko pick karne aane ki" dad teased and mom laughed at his words.

We three went out and I introduced Agastya to my parents and what dad said to him left him traumatized

"beta ji yeh kisi sher se kam nahi hai abhi tum jante nahi ho kitni khatarnak hai yeh tumhari himmat ki daat deni padegi jo khud iss sher ke paas aaye all the best with you life beta"

Agastya looked at me with shocked written over his face and mom noticed he probably got scared.

"arre kyu bacche ko dara rahe ho aap" she told dad and turned towards Agastya

"beta yeh toh kuch bhi bolte hai tum dhyaan mat do badi pyaari bachhi hai meri" mom told Agastya and smiled.

Agastya gave mom a slight nod and said "uncle aunty mai samajh sakta hun aapka concern aap chinta mat karna mai aapki sherni I mean beti ko sahi salamat ghar chhod dunga and uska khayal bhi rakhunga zindagi bhar she is my responsibility now you both can relax"

My parents gave him a I am proud of you look to both of us and we left for racecourse.

AGASTYA'S POV

For a moment I was scared when I saw her dad but they seemed to like me and me being with their daughter. I mean parents understand by looks about the intentions. Everything I said to them I meant it from the bottom of my heart I will always protect my doll.

I looked at rhea who was busy looking around and I remembered I got her a bouquet I forgot to give her.

"hey" I called her

"yeah" she said looking at me with her smile.

I can die for her smile.

"umm I got you something it is in the backseat" I said.

"ohh really" she said looking behind.

That shine in her eyes and that smile on her face is what I live for

"ohh myy godd agastyaaa you got this for me?? How did you know I like lilies I love them they are sooo good" she exclaimed out of excitement.

"I saw them on the way and thought you might like them" I said with a smile.

"thank you soo much they are my favorite" she said hugging my left arm.

I froze at her this reaction it felt so peaceful seeing her happy with just a bouquet of lilies. So my doll loves lilies. I guess like this name more than doll, well she is both my doll and my lily.

She had left my arm long and now was holding that bouquet as if her life depends on it.

"you can keep it at the backseat and sit comfortably lily" I said without realising what I just said.

"did you just give me a nickname?" she asked.

"umm I am sorry I found it cute and you are just like lily soft and delicate so yeah" I blurted out.

"it is okay I like it also I am going to hold this bouquet please I am loving it" she said.

"achha okay fine if you feel uncomfortable holding them you can keep it back also I got you snacks and a blanket just in case if you need them" I said.

"omg you did all of this for me you did not have to I am fine. Thank you so much for keeping me comfortable Agastya" she said with utmost innocence.

I just smiled and continued to drive.

After about fifteen we reached the racecourse, I quickly got down and reached to her side and opened the door for her.

"abh le lun isko aram se peeche rakhne ki permission hai" i said looking at the bouquet.

"haan rakhdo lekin aram" she said looking sadly at it as if I am separating her from her favourite teddy.

She came out of the car and gave the bouquet delicately and I placed it on the blanket for her satisfaction.

"abh theek hai? Lily ki lilies aram se rakhdi maine." I said shaking my head at her cuteness.

"haan abh chalo" she said.

"hanji chalo" I said
