Fixing History

(Author's Note): Now, we're gonna see that the events that led to Jake becoming friends with the Music Club and him getting the Omnitrix were manipulated by greater forces. And you might be able to guess what these greater forces were.

The sun was shining bright on the city of Rosemeadow, the people were living peacefully and not a crisis in the world was happening before...

Jake: Where is it?! Where is it?!

Our hero, Jake Sterling was searching for the Omnitrix. When he woke up, it was instantly gone from his wrist.

Jake: I had it on my wrist even when I was asleep! How could it just disappear into nothingness?!

Jake's Mom: (from outside) Jake, you have a date with your girlfriend Lia this afternoon. And it's also gonna be a double date with you're friends Drew and Zoey.

The peach-haired boy was confused at that moment, he's never dated Lia in his life or was even friends with Zoey or Drew.

Jake: (What's she talking about?)

Jake then got into his usual clothes, his black trousers, a gray hoodie over his red shirt, and goggles on his head before putting on his shoes and rushing out of his room to his front door where he saw Lia, Drew, and Zoey. Zoey was looking bored as she waited for him.

Zoey: Are we gonna go or what Jake?

Jake: Yeah, we're going. (Whtever's going on, I'm gonna need to play along until I figure something out.)

At The Mall...

Jake, Drew, and Lia were waiting for Zoey to finish up with shopping for the day. Jake was looking at his wrist in concern as he wasn't listening to what Lia was saying.

Jake: (How could the Omnitrix just disappear from my wrist overnight? For all I know, the Music Club is probably hating me if I'm friends with Drew and his gang.)

Lia: Jake, are you even listening to me?

Jake then snapped out of his thoughts.

Jake: What?

Lia: I was wondering if you wanna change your look. Because the goggles don't match your look at all.

Jake: Okay. I wonder how Hailey and the others have been doing.

Drew: Wait, you've been thinking about the Music Freaks?

Jake: Yeah. They're my friends.

Zoey: Since when were you ever friends with the freak club?

Jake: Since elementary school. And when I was Nine Years Old, during the summer, I found this watch that came from space called the Omnitrix which allows me to turn into 58 different aliens! When I got up this morning, it was gone, like it never even existed!

Zoey, Drew, and Lia all looked at each other in disbelief before Drew looked back at Jake.

Drew: Jake, you might wanna wait outside while me and the girls quickly talk about something private.

Jake just shrugged and walked and left Drew, Zoey, and Lia alone and started their conversation.

Zoey: (whispers) How does he remember that freak watch?! I thought we changed the events to stop that. I knew this was pointless.

Lia: (whispers) Whatever happens, we can't let him get his hands on that watch or meet up with the Music Club. Drew, do you still have the time key?
