I forgot to mention and plus I'm too lazy, each day may take 1-3 chapters... Heh
"Adeline!" Mom says as she calls for me. Still cleaning the dishes from earlier breakfast.
"One second mom! I'm doing something!" I say as I grab my phone and stuff it into my bag.
I arrive to school a couple hours later and grab out my phone. I start to text my friend, Reliny, to see where she could be. I see that the school is filled with people and could almost be impossible to find her. I start to wave my hand side to side trying to make any movement she could see. Hours and hours later, classes and classes, still no sight of her.
I start to walk to my next class and bump into my boyfriend. I look at him for a second and realize he doesn't look normal.
"Babe?" I say still questioning why he looks like somewhat different.
"Yes Adeline?" He says without a break in between my words to his.
"Why do you... Nevermind.", I say as I feel something weird go on in my head as he makes eye contact with me, but then out of nowhere I go ahead and say, " You know what, actually why do you look different? You give me a feeling that something weird is going on... "
"What do you mean, Adeline?" Sam says as I continue to get a weird feeling and finally realize he's been saying my name instead of my nickname.
"Babe, act normal!" I yell as he walks away in the middle of my sentence and I look behind him. As I look behind him a see a bit of red, I think about what it is but then leave him alone.
For hours and hours I think of what he was doing and why my best friend didn't come to school. I continue to think about that until the way until the end of the school day.
"Why did he act like that...?"
