i wake up to hear my phone blowing up, i turn and pick up my phone to see stephanie texting me and calling me over 100 times, i pick up my phone almost about to send a message, then my my mom comes in the room,

"your friends are outside, you want me to bring them inside?" she asks

"yes mom"

i sit up in my bed and turn on the lights and wait for them come in the room,

stephanie busted in the room and the rest comes in the room.

i jump up because i didn't expect her to just bust without knocking,

"blud has jadon texted u?" marcus asked

"no why?" i say

"man just disappeared, he's not answering or responding anybody" stephanie adds on

"maybe he's just sleeping" i say

"or at football practice" i add on

"when's the last time you texted him?" marcus asks

"yesterday.." i say

"and you thinks he's been sleeping or at football
practice from yesterday?" stephanie's says

i kiss my teeth,

"have you lot even went to his house and seen if he is there?"

"yeah, but the house says it available for rent or own" marcus says

"this doesn't make sense" i say

-silence for a while -

"have u called reiss to see if reiss knows were he is?"

"no, he blocked me"

"the fuck?" i say

"don't you think there planning sum?" marcus says

me and stephanie look at eachother

"these man just go ghost for no reason? and not answering the phone or texts?"

"maybe they just used you lot" marcus adds on

"don't say that" stephanie says softly

" but what ? it might be true tho" chloe adds on

"but if he wanted to ghost me he wouldn't have told me he's moving" i say

"man like them don't care, they can get any gyal they want bc of there status" kairo said

i deeply sigh and fall back in my bed

jadon pov:

after landing in germany and currently staying at the hotel with my mum and little sister, i decided to call reiss let him know i've landed.

"three rings and this man havent picked up?" i say

i kiss my teeth,

"forgot this guy has the worse internet connection in lond-"

he picks up

"big JS7" he says

"wagwann" i say and laughs

"how was ur flight to germany?"

"blud, they had man on a pj"

"wyss, i'm happy for u bro" he says

"thanks man, u next to go play for the senior team" i say

"ofc man"

we laugh

"but you talked to destiny tho?"

i clear my throat,

"i havent texted her about went im going to leave or seen her since the send off"

"brudda if you don't text her tell her she's going to be fuming"

"either way she's going to be upset so"

"you shouldn't have done that, she loves you man and you just ghost her?"

i kiss my teeth,

"i'll text her later"

"if she hasn't blocked you by now"

i laugh

"alr bro ill chat to u later"

"alr, love" he says

i hang up and try to text her but for some reason it wasn't going through, again

"i don't want her to think i ghosted her man just send the damn message" i say and kiss my teeth

i go on snap and text her and once again it didn't go through, i genuinely give up on ways to contact her. i think we should just call it quits

my mom eventually walks in the room and hugs me and chats to me abt how's she's proud of me.

destiny pov:

it was about 4pm and me and the group sit down watching love island, while my phone pings multiple times,

"des you have new man already?" marcus asks

"shut up man" i say and hit him

chloe and kairo jumps up scares the whole group

"blud why would he pick her she already said she has over 10 body's at 27 bro" kairo says

"picked her over two women that actually have goals in life, see what's the problem with these men now a days?" chloe says

they kiss there teeth,

"preach" marcus says

we all laugh,

" i'll be back" i say and get up and go to the bathroom"

i open my phone and open all my social medias and still no contact, i put my phone down and start tearing up in the mirror. to be honest i actually did love jadon i wanted us to make after he took my card away, gave me my first kiss, met my parents, brought me flowers, and even took me to my first football match. i deleted every picture of us, every social media, even every jersey he game me so i could sell and make so cash on the side. i hate to say it's over but it is, this relationship is clearly not worth fighting for it i'll leave it how it is and move on.

since then that was it for jadon and destiny, destiny was more focused on school and jadon was focused on football. jadon would still try to reach her but still didn't go through, meanwhile destiny graduated and went to nursing school, it was over,

but of course, until one day.
